I found the reason there will never be a good freeware scene again-the demo of Synthedit 1.1 is just a demo, apparently the words "demo" go across the compiled dll's gui.
While I'm here I'll drop some links- Autowah, very good tracking system
Just phase mod synth, stuff I picked up from the Synthmaker forum
Joystick to cc, I love this, my 1st control interface, as I play guitar not keys

SE 1.1 really does that? hadn't realised...
fair enough, in some ways, that one should have to
pay the very fair license fee to release, no?
it's only if they bump up the price that things will
get bad...
edit: on second thoughts.. it is a shame it sticks
the 'demo' notice on it, i agree.

just uploaded eSoul BS100 PhaseDistortion Synth (phat bass line maker), Flintlock Juno106 (definitely ahead for its time as emulation, IMO) and the 2 Bokster weird noisemaker ones, FatzLine and Unisomniac

All very well....but...what has this list of defunked instruments got to do with Maize Sampler?????
