I am looking for a Ipad controller for Cubase / Studio One Pro. I am on Windows7 64bit.
What do you suggest? I have heard of AC-7, Touch Osc and Midi Touch, but main thing for me is that the controller works with the named hosts on Win7.

I use midi touch or touchosc and so far they'll work with anything that can receive a midi input.

Look at V-Control Pro for Cubase. I use it for Pro Tools and I love it, but it's only for PT, Cubase/Nuendo, and Logic.

Thx, looks good! However, €40 is on the high-price side of apps and as it is a recent development there arent many user comments.cryophonik wrote:Look at V-Control Pro for Cubase. I use it for Pro Tools and I love it, but it's only for PT, Cubase/Nuendo, and Logic.
Have you by any chance tried it with Cubase 6 on Win7 64bit ?

No, I've only used it with PT9 on Win7 64-bit, but it's rock solid, easy to set up and use, and has a ton of features. There is a VERY basic free version and a cut down version (V-Control) for around $20 USD. I started with the cut down version and upgraded to Pro from there after being so impressed by it.FrankT wrote: Have you by any chance tried it with Cubase 6 on Win7 64bit ?
And, yeah, $50 seemed pretty steep to me at first, but when my iPad and V-Control are parked next to my unused $200 Alpha Track that can't come close to matching it, it seems like a pretty good deal!

My vote is for TouchOSC. The Logic template is amazing. For Cubase you can do your own and I'm pretty sure you will find one for it too.

I installed the free V-Control app and the ney-fi program on my daw (win7 64bit). InCubase I setup a Mackie HUI controller and set V-Control for midi in/out. In the app I can see faders synced to Cubase. However, when I load a VST I get uncontrolled midi events resulting in noise as soon as I arm the track.FrankT wrote:I hear you. I have contacted Neyrinck - the vendor of V-Control. Let's see what they come back with.FrankT wrote:

Neyrink support solved it "In Cubase's MIDI Port Setup is the "In All MIDI" box checked for V-Control? If so, it must be unchecked so that Cubase does not use it as MIDI input for other things besides the HUI controller."FrankT wrote:I have contacted Neyrinck - the vendor of V-Control.
