my first thought was Barbara Ann, then At the Hop but the thing this game came out of was about TV themes, and it didn't sound like the only version I really heard a lot of times, Sha Na Na (50's music was my half-sister's thing and we're from different planets, and generations).

It's like folderol knows that's the Danny and the Juniors from the one note out of repeated exposure.
