Thanks Andrew! Nice guitar playing in your demo, BTW.

I just posted a few more demo files in another thread:

I needed a fresh breeze through my head this afternoon so I played a newly programmed Zebra patch through some VRoom Narcissus - now I'm feeling much clearer and my cold is getting better as well :)

Sounds huge! Great how the sound is "moving" to the back of this huge hall. It seems to not come back by the reverb but "travel" away. Very cool. Would you please share that preset?

Nice Zebra patch, too.

Cheers Chacka :)
On this patchpool page you'll find a zip with some VRoom presets, I'll upload an update tomorrow containing the patch I made for this demo, I just shut down the studio and the preset is on the studio computer.

Another VRoom example: http://www.bronto-scorpio-music.com/Mus ... romo01.mp3
A crazy synth through VRoom in Nostromo mode, I love it! :)

So I just updated the VRoom zip on patchpool, it now contains 21 presets in the native VRoom format - the patch I used for the "Zebra bathes in Narcissus"-demo is named "Blurred Space"
Grab it here

Been recently falling in love with the demos of both VRoom and VShimmer. One thing that I find very important in a reverb though is to be able to lock the wet/dry when changing presets so you ca use it easily a a send and not worry about the wet/dry changing.

I can't seem to find a way to do this in the Valhalla verbs. Is there no option for this?

thanks

It is possible in VRoom. Just click on the label of the Mix slider :)

ValhallaRoom has the Mix lock button - just click the MIX label above the Mix slider. EDIT - looks like Dennis beat me to the answer.

ValhallaShimmer doesn't have this Mix lock. Shimmer was developed before I had the preset solution (which was largely borrowed from Randy Jones of Madrona Labs), mix lock code, and resizable GUI in place. After ValhallaÜberMod comes out, I want to look at Shimmer again, and update it to keep up with my code changes. Right now, things aren't broken with Shimmer, so I don't want to do anything that would break stuff during the process of fixing it.

Where, oh WHERE do I put downloaded patches for Valhalla Room (like Samplecontruct's ones just posted) on the Mac?

I can't find instructions anywhere and when I just tried to use Valhalladsp support and sent the form, I get a 404 Page Not Found…

Best,

Joachim
If it were easy, anybody could do it!
