Is anyone else hearing slight but definitely hearable intermodulation on some poly sounds, though? For example if I select the Sine preset, hold down a note and play others around it, there's a sort of low-midrange difference tone, like you get when you play chords into distortion, but much more subtle.

I didn't hear anything like this in the audio demos so I'm wondering if it's something to do with my computer (which is pretty old). It's not happening on any of my other synths.
You could save the .fxp preset and send it to me, because I am not quite sure what you mean. But of course - specially in "old" mode - the plugin is made to not produce exact clean sounds like a pure sine... :)
I tested normal and old mode... and I was wearing headphones - it's not really noticable on speakers as it's quite subtle, but it definitely isn't happening on my other synths.

Well, all but one. I downloaded the OP-X II demo for comparison, and found that the exact same thing happens with that synth! So it's obviously part of the synth's sound, and intentionally created in both SAM and OP-X II. So I guess congrats on getting the sound as close as a very expensive plugin :)

It's not an unpleasant effect, it just caught me off guard last night as I was playing around in headphones.

Really cool little synth. Lovely sound, lots of oberheimish character. Had great fun with it today, while driving it with D-Arp through some chorus and delay effects

Excellent WOrK!
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!
