I sent off a message to the webmaster to have that taken care of :) I agree, very annoying. I don't usually frequent the home page, so I hadn't really noticed it. Sorry about that!

The new RTAS version should now be available to all beta-testers :)

For the time being, yes it is the VST and AU final version. We are also looking at extending the functionality over the next updates, and obviously fix additional bugs that need attending :) RTAS should be finalized over the next week and released publicly the following week.

I vote for a LA2A compressor model built into MixControl. As well as a much more detailed "SAT" section (multi-band, multi-modeled, distortion). ;)

I know things are a little ways down the development road... but this would add some flavor that no one else offers.

The LA2A could easily be put into the "Limiter" area to make more use of the space and give it a really nice feeling/sound.

Obviously I would not expect exact replicas of the LA2A like Waves/IK/UAD and others recommend, but more just very, very similar take on the concept.

Just sending out my wishes. :harp:

Also... the CPU usage is not as bad as before (30%+ with the GUI open), but now it literally doubles when the GUI is open and is cut in half by 50% when closed.

Thank you for the feature requests! These are most certainly options as we go forward, and I will definitely keep everyone posted as to new features and enhancements.

Feature requests can also be sent in to us via the e-mail link in this signature, and they will be added to the current list :)

Now, I should remind people that this is literally the only report of this behaviour that we have received, and it is due to a bug in the drivers for that particular model of intel integrated graphics card. We have been seeking assistance on this issue from the manufacturer, but have not had any response as of yet - we will, however, continue to optimize the performance as well :)

The CPU usage is typically very small, around 1.5% with all modules enabled, or around 4% with the oversampling enabled.

A new review (german) for MixControl Pro is available by Markus Dollinger @ nachbelichtet.com :)

Google does a decent job translating the review and it's very positive! Way to go!

Aha, thanks Doc! I was looking for a way to translate the entire page at once, but I'll admit that I've been conditioned not to ever use Google :) Hopefully we will have more reviews online soon, but I have not seen any user reviews of MixControl Pro yet, so I'm hoping to see some users give their honest opinions about the software as well :)

There you go, my review is online. I put so much effort in describing the MCP compressor in another thread that I thought it was half the review already. Well, it was not in the end but I like that plugin and use it on all tracks since owning it. I like to advertise for the things that I like.

Hey thanks Chaka! Glad it's become a useful part of your mixing setup and I hope that we can continue to update and upgrade it to become even more useful! Please do let us know if there is something you would like to see included in future revisons :)

Also, more honest reviews like Chaka's are really appreciated!

I just wanted to inform users who had been posting @ the DNR forums - the forum was compromised over the past hour by some users who apparently singled us out and our entire forum was rendered useless. Our web administrator was active almost immediately but was unfortunately unable to recover the forums and posts. The users and permissions *should* be all set. He is currently setting up the forums again after adding new preventative measures to the forum, but we are available through our e-mail contact and support areas of the DNR website should anyone need assistance.
