Yes indeed. :D
So, are you saying that I can install this program on a computer that doesn't have internet access, and still be able to authorize and use it?!?

If so, that's going to make things a lot easier for me!

--Sean
Yes, that is what we're saying! :D
(You will need another computer with internet access, but if you are reading this, we assume you have that covered ;) )

Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:davidka, actually our "HiAmp" model is of the Custom 100, not 50. ;)
from the FAQ:
"It is now possible to unlock Custom Shop purchases using the offline Authorization process. Please update your copy of AmpliTube 3 to version 3.7, available in your User Area > Downloads. You must also be running the latest Authorization Manager, version 1.0.5, which is installed alongside AmpliTube v.3.7.

For further documentation, please refer to Chapter 10 of the 'Install and Authorization Manual.pdf' contained in the download file for AmpliTube 3.7."

Not worthy of a separate thread, in honor of all the paranoid whiners
whose relentless leverage influenced this feature?
Way cool! I'm a "paranoid whiner," and this is good news!!!

And the memory fix for using herds of A3s is thundering our way :wheee: :hyper: :wheee:

(I shouldn't poke fun at folks who are cautious with their prized DAW,
since I do more damage to my daw in a single year by futzing about with linux,
than all the malwarez/virii I have have dodged in the last five :dog:

Is this a good enough amp to bother modelling?

Post

Peavey amps are not on our radar right now. We've got our eye on some others...

But - if you want to discuss amps, guitars, and killer tone, we just opened up The Amp Room in a new general admission Music Lounge on the IK user forum.

Post

Still nobody talking about the hiwatt?

@jet city 50 watt: It was an assumption, sorry

They're probably leaving Peavey amp sims for Revalver to model.
Remember the iLokalypse Summer 2013

Samples and presets and free stuff!

So, is it JCA20H or JCA100H model? The small, one-channel amp or the larger 2-channel amp?

Post

I posted a thread with details and links for the new gear here. This should help clear up any confusion over the gear modeled.

Can I please throw in a recommendation for modelling some Fryette amps - particularly the Sig X and the Pitbull CL.

If anyone is curious about the Jet City 100H...

this is why I can't compare the jet city to my jet city and it's probably because of how and where I mic my cab and my weber attenuator because my jet city 50 watt does not sound anything like that
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Yeah, I had forgotten Peavey has a stake in Revalver, or I wouldn't
have asked. It did save me from posting the discount in the bargains thread.

Speaking of which, how about $179 for
Amplitube Hendrix, Metal, Amplitube2, X-Gear, Ampeg-SVX, Miraslov Orchestra, SonicSynth2, SampleTron, SampleMoog, T-Racks, CSR-reverb, Sampletank 2.5XL, three day sale http://www.esoundz.com/news1.php?nbr=6025

Works out to a bank busting, plastic melting $15 each :hihi:

Post

@Amberience: Nice! Is that dropped tuning or is it a 7 string?
