If I wanted to integrate a behringer fcb1010 with various vst fx and amp sims so that I could switch seemlessly between playing through various combinations and rigs is it possible to do this with catabile and if so why not write a manual aimed at guitarists to explain how we would be able to use it.
We don't want to read about vst instruments when we are learning how to use your program for our needs. This would open your program up to a whole new market by making it more user friendly for us guitarists to learn how to use it. Also which version of cantabile would I need.
An fcb1010 has 10 switches and 2 pedals and if cantabile can be programed to offer up diferent choices of patches per song then we would have a perfect tool to integrate a laptop with various amp sims and fx.
More guitarists would use this type of rig over one they could not reamp and record their performances as easily with.
Most guitarists are not programming minded like keyboardists and if you can't make things easy for them then they won't buy your product. You don't need to redesing your product just to redesign your manual with a guitarists use in mind perhaps a section for guitar players to get up and using your program quickly with an example of integrating it with an amp sim a separate reverb plug in and making various patches swithable from the footswitches.
Just a bit of advice to think like your customer to sell to them. I should get a free copy of your software for this advice by the way.
If you follow my advice you will see a world of sales you never would have had otherwise and if you want other marketing ideas I am a sales professional and capable of consulting with you on other ways to increase your sales especially to the guitarist community.
