Just got latest issue of CM magazine today. Notice that they're including a free copy of Z3ta+, v1 of course not the new v2. Not a cut down version either like z3ta+CM or something but the proper original with its own serial number.

Thought some might be interested in this info

*edit* updating first post. It's the November issue, red cover with DUBSTEP written on it.

mine arrived in the post today too. I imagine its good for them cause people may go for the upgrade option, so it's almost like a 'lite' demo of the newer one.

If anyone in the UK wants my CD and serial then I can stick it in to post once I've checked out the samples and stuff, as I already own version 2. Edit - gone.

Does this qualify for an upgrade path? That would be just the excuse I need to pick up Version 2....

Should do, it's the normal version.

I was presuming thats why they are giving it away; to entice people into upgrading.

Never played with it before although I have heard a lot of good things about it. Spent the last hour messing and it is fun, especially the shaper controls

As i already own Helix & Zebra2, is it of any interest ?
Z3ta seems great, but i fear it might overlap quite a bit with other modular wavetable monster synths ?

It worth it. Nice for pads and basslines, mostly. Also comes with a nice amount of presets, and also the 1000 presets you can download over the net for free.
