Wow this sets the new standard. Doesn't run in the background as of yet but what a sound.

I purchased Animoog this morning and this thing is brilliant. The sounds on it are fantastic and up there with Nlog Pro, Addictive Synth, iMS20, Eden and Sunrizer as the best sounding synths on iPad. I also couldn't believe the price of 69p. WOW I mean WOW!!!!!!!

A MUST BUY if there ever was one. My only issue is as woodsdenis says, it doesn't run in the background. I am spoiled now and want to play synths along with BM2..... but the sound is just a dream.woodsdenis wrote:Wow this sets the new standard. Doesn't run in the background as of yet but what a sound.

That guy's reaction in the teaser video was COMPLETELY justified! Fantastic stuff from Moog. And 69p??!! Where do I donate some more money because this thing is an absolute steal! I feel guilty only paying 69p for it!!

Can someone please enlighten me? I have this kind of existencial doubt:Artmuzz wrote:I purchased Animoog this morning and this thing is brilliant. Why is people always questioning the quality of the Virtual Instruments that appear in Windows/Mac, comparing them with the hardware and systematically telling that they simply "aren't like the real thing", and suddenly become crazy about these gizmos that appear for iPad, that do only a fraction of what the above mentioned do?
I am feeling like I have returned to the "vinyl vs CD" discussions, when people ended up buying MP3 files at 128 and find that as the new standard in quality.
Am I going nuts, or is the world upside down?

The filters seem really good on this moog and it has a particular interactivity that is nice. I think that is part of the charm of iPad instruments because you don't have to have a kaoss pad or use an external x-y pad to get something out of 'em. No synth is going to change my life at this point, but it's nice to have something like this tucked under my arm at all times just to work on melodies or simply zone out with. YMMV.

For me the synth sounded extremely good, the playability is very well thought out.
I was also shocked that it was only 99 cents.
This is one synth I'll probably play live.

Here's some enlightenment. Stfu and let people enjoy their 99 cent synth instead of trolling for a ridiculous and overdone argument.fmr wrote:Can someone please enlighten me?
