If I upgraded to s1 pro v1 I would be able to upgrade now to professional for 99$ only :( In fact I was hoping to do that and wait till the end of october and suddenly v2 came out and that previous offer disappeared. Now I can upgrade to only producer for 99$. I would really like to utilize melodyne but now 299$ upgrade from artist is too much for me...

so lemmie get this straight: if i buy Studio One ver 2 Artist from PreSonus i can buy ver 2 Professional (not Producer) from AudioMidi for 99 dollars, for a total of 200 bucks as opposed to 400 bucks?

I don't think so. It seems to me the cheapest path is

1) Audiomidi Artist1 $99
2) Audio Midi Artist1 to S1/1 Pro $99 (Or skip #1 and just but S1/1 Pro from Audiomidi for $199)
3) Presonus S1/1 to S1/2 $99

for a total of ~$300

Those that can, do. Those that can't, argue about it on k-v-r

It was confusing to me too but it looks like no matter how you slice it, it's around 300 bucks to go from artist to pro

Dang, that's a lot of new content as well!

1 question regarding the impulses (pro version). It says they are in wav format.

Can you access the raw wav's to use in other convolution plugins (outside of Studio One) or are they only accessible in Studio One?

Just asking because everything else is only available in Studio one (loops, etc..) unless you render them to wav from S1

Good question. I'm curious if it works the other way round too. AFAIK, every other convolution reverb out there accepts third party impulses. I would expect the same of OpenAir, but best to be sure...

It definitely would add to the upgrade's already exceptional value. :)

In addition to the opportunity of quoting myself  it seems Sweetwater is offering a more direct path to acquire S1/2 Pro as a crossgrade from other DAWs for $299

Serious issue.

Even though I have overdub and record mix enabled, I cannot get overdub to work on midi. It will record the over dub (old part sounds) but the moment you stop record anything before disappears. win7x64 here.

BTW, in loop mode it doesn't work. However, if I turn loop mode off it overdubs fine :?

edit, yeah it's a bug.

Does anybody know if and when the V1->V2 upgrades will be available at audiomidi.com and other online retailers?
