wondering if anyone else have problems loading presets in massive in S2 pro??

i only noticed that in S2 i cant seem to load presets in massive,only the factory presets in massive,when i open sound in massive and go to my presets folder the folder comes up as empty,even if its full of my presets??

other than that i really enjoy this new release

Yeah that's the one i can't download. Been trying since yesterday, thought it woulda calmed down a bit by now. I'm guessing MusicKing has got some other unpublicised link.

Well, I'm not sure I follow but if I save a patch in massive (standalone) and then try and load that (from the open dialog) then it's fine

Well, I'm not sure I follow but if I save a patch in massive (standalone) and then try and load that (from the open dialog) then it's fine

what i mean is,i have alot of presets for massive,i have made,and when i try to load one of them i cant,the folder where my presets are located comes up as empty,though its full of presets,so i cant load them??

Well, when you are talking about loading them you are talking about "open sound"? If so, I can get that to work here. win7x64

i doubt i'd need more than essentials though, i have never used melodyne before.

Can someone comment on v2 cpu usage? (I'm on a PC, but anyone's perspective would certainly be helpful).

I've seen a couple of posts in another forum where users trying out S1 v2 complained of really high cpu usage (versus their current DAW). I realize this could be system-specific, so it would be nice to hear from some other users on this.

(If you comment, please mention if you're on a Mac or PC).

So DNA is the killer feature missing.

I'll watch this space for others who have Melodyne w/DNA feature enabled and see how they fare with S1 Pro v2.

I think (and I might be wrong about this but IIRC) S1's cpu meter reads the load differently from (their current DAW). You really have to look at the Win CPU meter to compare them I think.

Generally speaking for me (PC, Win 7 64, S1 32) it runs about the same as Cubase or most others in that range... which is a little bit higher than (their current DAW)... which is a more efficient than most, imo.

In any case, v2 has a more detailed performance monitor so you can compare plugs individually (to their current DAW) on a case by case basis and see what varies if so inclined.
