WOW! ... so my questions to you guys is, when does there come a time when 663 pages of vsti/s start to do pretty much the same thing sound wise afer what ammount to only 6 pages or less

Would you say this about food? Those recipe books would all be too thin! I think its great that there is so much committment to making virtual instruments, hope it never wanes. We all prefer different flavours dont we?

@Astralexistence: some flavours betters than others,
but you have to look for them. contrary to perceived
wisdom, synthedit etc do not just produce generic
sounds. eh!!
besides, we're just gear-hogs...

Riddle me this, good people:
Does anybody have Shortcircuit version 1.0.15? Check this: http://forum.vemberaudio.se/index.php/topic,2424.0.html
It seems that there are some issues with the "current" version. There was a question as to whether it's legal to put up 1.0.15, but all versions are free...correct me if I'm wrong. The Vember audio forum is barely moving, so I thought it proper to check here. Thanks much!

Check the forum link I listed above...long story short, there's some transient smear problems in other versions including the ones available now. It's drought territory in Vember's forum, so I thought I'd venture out for some water for the folks eh? Either way I'll still use the current version, it's mostly awesome(98-99%).

Yeah, apologies for being a tw*t. When you said current, I thought you just
wanted sc1 rather than sc2.
So I went looking..........when v1.013 was originally released it was 125 euros,

No need to apologize Bob, I didn't feel any tw*tness. Wayback Machine's cool, I should explore it more. Thanks for the heads up on Sp3ctr3...it had me at the old school vector graphics but the mangling of Borderline by Madonna really sold it.
Until/unless Claes gets involved Shortcircuit might have to wait, but I'll live with it, thanks for checking.
