Well, I still say that compared to "some" creations nowadays, it still stands it's ground. Pity that it went that long through the radar until it flamed up again with the 20USD deals and the announcement of ZETA2.
If I wouldn't have got it back in the day, I sure as hell would have got it by now. Especially now since there are more skins, sorted presets, mods and third party presets tha still kick some synths in the groin (Dogs on Acid for example).
Should anyone from Germany consider getting a CM issue, one hint: call them, order directly. Through train station newspaper stores you pay up to 20 bucks, directly only 8 EUR - but you have to wait like 6-8 weeks until it arrives.

@ kx.001
Reproducable media and the 0/1 binary items don't deprecate automatically. And hardware often gains value over time, if and when demand outweighs supply. People laughed at my 1972 Toyota in 1985.
Now I have to post signs saying it's
not
for
ffffing
SALE!!!

It's a lot newer than my guitar

I'm sure there are plenty of the free DVD's that are un-needed and we could probably organise a swapping session.Compyfox wrote: Should anyone from Germany consider getting a CM issue, one hint: call them, order directly. Although I'm sure they'll be cropping up on the marketplace soon for 'only' $10...

I've just posted in the Marketplace to see if anyone wants to volunteer their serial numbers. I'm sure there must be lots of copies that won't get used.bronxsound wrote:may i join the "beggars" and offer my genuine hospitality for a serial number incoming via pm ?![]()

Ahhh i got it. Sorry was having a blonde moment, thought your posts comment was direct at me not being an early adopter or something, lol, my bad.Compyfox wrote:There is no point other than in
"Cakewalk says thank you to all the early adopters and customers that supported them - but since we (Cakewalk) literally let that VSTi die out and recently released a new version, we give away our 'old one' for the price of a magazine"
I paid about 100bucks (in Euro) myself, boxed and stuff. Good for those that waited, a slap in the face to those that always wanted bugfixes and instead got a totally new version.
YMMV.
I'm happy with MY copy of ZETA+ v1.5.3 - and the ton of patches and mods that collect dust on my HDD. Then again, I'm also happy with the "Steinberg Waldorf Edition", even though there's the regular/official/updated "Waldorf Collection" out for a while now as well.
Like I said, YMMV.

When is this due out in the States? I'd like to pick it up before they're all gone, and I imagine that will be pretty quick with this edition.
