We did that to avoid downloading extra bundles that would have been a nightmare on mobile devices connection. Such as a 3G network.
I'm sorry, but does this even make sense?

Only to the marketing department :hihi:

This also allows you the opportunity to try out SampleTank iOS expansion pack sounds before purchasing them. :)

Figured out the layering function. Since the Layer function in settings says "on", I thought that meant it was on, when it fact it lights up when it is actually on. Perhaps that button could say "off" when it's off, to avoid confusion?

ObiK, please consider adding a "split" feature. I could be wrong, but most people in the market for this app probably have a more basic keyboard that can only transmit on a single midi channel at a time, so being able to specify the key range of each part directly in the app would be useful. I've already sent that suggestion to support, but I'm posting it here too; in the hopes that others might show support for that feature.

Perfectly.
Quite wise IMO

Please explain.

Thanks for the clarification Obik :)
Now does anyone know about the future of ACP / pasteboard for ST?

Post

I tried the free version and wasn't inspired. Maybe it was running it on the iPad and being spoiled by some other synths. I took it off right away and hope that the iPad version will change my mind. Would be cool if it were compatable with previously purchase ST expansions. that would be interesting.

It's just undelwhelming in regards to what it could be, or what people thought it would be.

But you're actually sooo close.

The 14 year-old-boy-posting doesn't help either.

Wow this is really disappointing. It's one of the most annoying apps I every tried. Stuck UI elements, spam pop ups. The app is huge and there are just a few sounds. I don't see the point.

Spam pop ups...what's that all about? It that the cost of being free? If so then I don't want it. That's very disappointing.

Getting a pop-up message telling you to register SampleTank to unlock 4 additional instruments is a small price to pay for a free app (and 4 additional free instruments).

iDesignsound.com have this as their App of the week. Will there be an iPad version?

I just checked the free version. Well...

I don't see the point with this App, it is extremely limited...

So if it's all about having great samples, well... I've already got hundreds of gigas of hi quality samples and I can open them in all my favourites Apps.

So why should I buy Sample Tank?

I don't see...

No it is NOT small price to pay, it is "nagging" rip-off!
