Dowloaded the MDynamicEQ demo and tested... for 2 minutes... then I bought it :o

This thing is REALLY impressive. What's also impressive is the amount of EQs I collected, I must be affected by some kind of syndrome...

yeah i just snagged the MAutoDynamicEQ due to the fact my "studio" is going to be moved into an awful sounding room in a couple months. if anyone feels like making separate presets for BASS GUITAR, ELECTRIC GUITAR, ACOUSTIC GUITAR & VOCALS to add to the preset exchange that would be RAD!
my newest sounds:

Cakewalk by BandLab, Komplete 13, Maschine 2 (MKI & Jam), Fathom Synth, Guitars, Jam Origin MIDI Guitar, EXH Superego+ etc

Just brought it! :) couldn't resist any more! lol ;)

Will be looking into buying more at some point soon, thanks for your help on the calculation!

I have already starting informing my students about your plugs too! I can't believe I somehow missed them for this long!

I did find one bug though! ;) but with the frequency shifter in the free plugin set. I you move the frequency shift control reasonably fast up and down but not very far from the centre point of 0, I managed to get the output to create some nasty popping noises and found these were easy to produce when the width was quite wide too.

Apart from that nothing else yet!

Bought MDynamicEQ. I really like the sound!

Small bug with the GUI style; Browsing through Styles, or clicking on a style closes the window, instead of keeping it open and letting you preview all the styles. Using the cursor up&down it stays open most times.

Can anyone make a comparison from personal experience between this and EQuick?

I was planning on buying EQuick as my go to eq, but now I'm wondering if MDynamicEQ would sound just as good, have more options and save me some cash. The only obvious downside is the limited number of bands in MDynamicEQ, but I don't think that's really going to be an issue for me.

You get five fully configurable bands plus LP and HP with a huge range of slopes. This should get you very far in day to day practice. And if not - you can always add another instance.

Quality wise I have nothing to complain - but I'm no expert. As far as I hear it doesn't color the sound in any specific way.

I didn't have the chance to use it much yet, but I was always looking for a dynamic EQ. I did a quick test and used an external kick as the side chain and ducked only the frequency range of the kick using a negative "dynamics" parameter for that band - it's an interesting way to make room for the kick (without ducking the whole sound as in "conventional" side chain ducking). Nice!

Thank you!

About the bug - I'll check it out, but at the moment I'm not sure if that could be solved, because the is some phase inversion around 0 shift, but not sure. Will check it out.

Hmm, interesting, what OS and host are you using?

Win XP SP2 - Live 8.2.5. I will try it on OSX aswell.

Also, when i first opened the preset browser the window lagged for like 20 seconds, i couldn't do anything. I guess the plugin was searching for the online presets but my daw is not connected to internet.

Hmm, I just checked with Live 8.1.5 and seems ok here. The closes the Window, when some other applications shows a popup though (found accidentally :) ). I'll try to update and see what Live 8.2.5 does.

With the preset exchange - it really did that once to me. Will check it out.

Hi Vojtech,
just bought MDynamicEQ.
Great Plug.
I now own 7 of Your plugins and payed for the free bundle.
It get's pretty tedious to (offline-) update them one by one.
It would be great, if the Total Bundle installer could get checkboxes,
to let the user choose which plugins should be installed / updated
( like Waves, Nomad, etc. )

Both are great EQs.
EQuick is still my goto, Mdynamic will be a strong contender for the HOFA IQEq ...
While EQuick doesn't have the dynamic feature,
it has a linear phase mode, extreme low CPU usage and a slicker interface
( I still wait for the Melda update, where I can finally hide the modulators
and all plugins will remember the state of the hidden areas )

If the budget is tight, I'd suggest to go with MDynamic, as long as it's reduced
and maybe add EQuick later, as lin phase can be very helpful, sometimes.

Hi Jan,

thank you! I'm afraid the checkboxes in the installer cannot be added, hard to explain, technical problem. Take it as a reason to upgrade to MTotalBundle :D

Btw. in the new version you can not only store default size and settings for each plugin, but the dynamic eqs also store state of the collapsed panels (I mean autoeq, bands). The modulators and multiparameters cannot be hidden. But they are quite small, you think it's necessary??
