Sample of a one key patch http://soundcloud.com/bj-rnlundberg/diversion-pad-9x2

shuffle for the mseg's would be cool too ;)

Great dark sound Björn, thanks! Yes, maybe the swing for mseg would be good too, I'll try.

I've added 46 more presets to the previous set.

Total now is 81. The new ones are put in a separate folder. Many of them are sound effects, sorry but I like sound effects :). Hope it would be useful to some one here.

Thanks Ammar for excellent sounds, I like effects too and yours are very interesting! I've created the patches page on the website. You could view it at http://diversion-synth.com/index.php/patches

Thanks Dmitry, I'm glad you like them, your words are encouraging :) Many of them are based on your presets. I will try to exploit more ideas.

Hey Dmitry!

How is it going? :) My ears are aching from tweaking patches so please soothe them with some fun news of your work :D

Apart from stabbing the sound brutally, what exactly does Scissor do? :-o
I always look at it as the evil brother of buzz and brilliance

Hey Björn, there is a lot of work since the next update will contain many new features. Now I'm making new OscFXs (they will become selectable), one of them is a real evil :). Many improvements are planned, so I don't know yet when exactly the update will be released. But it will be interesting, I promise :)

The Sciss multiplies input signal by a special window, which makes four cuts on the signal (two big and two small). Width of cuts is controlled by Sciss knob. For example processed sine wave looks like one on this picture:

The Sciss knob value is around 50%. Here is the sine for 75% sciss:

It sounds a bit like a PWM, the best results achieved at lower frequencies. I like it.

Sounds interesting :)

I'm currently working on some Diversion presets. It's so much fun to work with it and the sound is just outstanding.
I'll post some audio examples later :)

Thanks :)
I'm glad you like it! Thanks AGAIN for this great synth 8)
I'm working on a preset which is completely different at the moment. I'll post an audio demo later if all these audio demo aren't getting annoying.

Great, I'm looking forward! The demos are great, they aren't annoying at all. Can't wait to hear more from you.

And here it is :)
It's some kind of plucked sound. The morphpad controls the amount of chorus and tremolo.
Here is the dry version:

And here with chorus:

And with tremolo:

I also tweaked the presets from the audio demos above a bit more, they sound a lot better now :)
I'll share the presets as soon as I have a few more ready :)

Cheers
Dennis
