I got a new soundbank coming up. Luftrum 7 containing 64 ambient style presets for Glass Viper! 29 presets are pads so it's kind of pad-haven.

Guess the synth, just for fun. I will draw two winners: One winner will be drawn among the right guesses and one winner will be drawn among all guesses, also the wrong ones. Both will receive a copy of the soundbank and one of the winners will also win a license of the synth too!

What you hear is the synth alone without any external effects. I used Clockwork Stepsequencer to trigger the berlin school example in the Synth & Classics audio demo.

I use it a lot at the moment and it makes sense to choose a synth which I have

I love deduce things.

My deductions

·Sounds total analog to me, no sample based. (But maybe i'm wrong)

·From the synths i know so far, i'm between ACE, Zebra, Imposcar, Z3ta or SynthMaster due all of them have nice analog pads, and a build-in reverb.

·Luftrum used a StepSecuencer as he said.

·Z3ta 2 has arpeggiator, but not a stepsecuencer.
·ACE has nothing of both, so the use of a stepsecuencer it's a point. But no built-in reverb.
·Zebra is one of his VSTis, but the use of a stepsecuencer it's pointless (maybe) due it has built-in one.
·Imposcar 2 it's new too and i remember that the pads sounds very analog and alike to the examples, but not built-in reverb.
·Synthmaster 2.5, i knew nothing about a new soundbank for it.
·Absynth is one in his VSTi equipment but due i don't know about Absynth, i never tried, i will pass. Anyway, i heard about it that it's a nice tool for pads and atmospheres.

Finally i narrowed down into Zebra and Z3ta 2.

Hmm...

I will risk with Zebra this time. But i'm sure i'm wrong as usually hehe, also Z3ta it was chosen already.

I'm going to guess ACE because Bazille doesn't have a reverb/delay yet (that I know of). However, I hope that it's Alchemy and that I win the "wrong" drawing

Why? because I have Alchemy and not ACE, much as I love Urs' stuff (esp Bazille), I can't afford it right now

The reverb *does* sound like Alchemy, but there are no samples that I can here in the examples (tends to make it less likely to be Alchemy IMO). If it *is* Alchemy, well done sir!
