Been trying out the demo - new to S1 but I like it. 2 things:

Is there a preference setting or something that makes loops play automatically when previewing them in the browser. Also is there a launch quantise setting so that you can, say, set it to preview loops with your project at the start of the bar, as in Live?

Alos, there doesnt appear to be any proper tempo ramp function. Seems you might be able to do a ramp at 64ths resolution but that is not a proper ramp. Disappointing.

Has anyone noticed that there is a "cut" and "Copy" in the right click menu but no "Paste"

Whats up with that?

Double click the first one. From there, changing selection keeps them playing as you click another and another.

Not sure if it's the same thing (haven't used Ableton) but there is a little metronome icon in the browser which should sync the loop to the current tempo and bar pattern.

Yeah, that's a big FR from the post / scoring guys especially ... to have an actual continuous line for tempo changes and ramps and similar. Fingers crossed.

I haven't downloaded the demo yet, but is "Paste" available after you "Cut" or "Copy" something? Maybe it's determined by something being on the clipboard.

Edit: Yep, it is missing. Funny.

Kind of my first disappointment with S1/2 as I do a lot of editing via swiping. Other than that still impressed so far.

No, that's how I discovered it. I had copied a section and wanted to paste it elsewhere.

That's a funny omission actually.

I reported it. It'll be back in the next update I suppose. If you right click in empty space it shows up in the other menu though. It just doesn't show up if you right click on a media event.

Decided to finally try the demo and wanted to know a few things...

1. Is it possible to make send pans automatically follow track pans?

2. I use VSL Libraries and my articulation switches in Vienna Instruments Pro are based on MIDI CC values (1 to 127), but I noticed the controller lane in the piano roll editor works on a percentage scale (1 to 100). Is there a way to change this?

3. One of the things I like about REAPER's piano roll editor is the ability to assign MIDI channels directly to a note. This is pretty useful with VIs that allow you to change articulations by MIDI channel (EWQL SO, for example). It doesn't seem like Studio One is capable of this yet?

4. Super minor, but can you configure the playhead to return to the previous location on play/stop?

got the V2 Producer upgrade yesterday - smashing 20gb worth of downloads, but a lot of valuable things in there (NI Komplete Essentials !). I was messing around it just a bit yet, havent spotted paste bug although thats probably because ctrl+x/c/v is so much quicker

anyway - gonna make some beats later, groove detection already proved to be working great and very useful.
