Just bought DM1, and I already regret buying it, even if I bought it on sale.
And suddenly this topic came to mind.

So, the apps I regret buying are:

DM1 ($1)
Morphwiz ($10)

All of them. Seriously they're all sh!t for any serious music.
FL Studio is the best but that is only good for farting around with in bed.
"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

I could have saved a couple of hundred dollars demo'ing and reading reviews before *buying* sh!t. I won't mention any products since this will just turn into a silly product war.

Is farting in bed with S2 equally satisfactory with FL Studio or Cubase? :hihi:

I agree, I think DM1 is very good. It lacks some features but some of them are already announced for december. If you regret buying something for $0.99, then you must really hate it..

I regret buying Morphwiz though, and OMGuitar, and both AC-7 Pro and AC-7 Core, and Songwriters Pad, and actually Amplitube for iPad, I just never use it, as I have Amplitube for my PC. And I've bought lots of cheaper apps that weren't very good, but I can't regret those, it was a good learning experience in what to look for and research before I buy something. And it's all evolved so much since I got the iPad 1 year ago. No need to trying out everything musicmaking-related anymore.

I got Amplitube for my iphone. Never use it.

all of them except iKaossilator, they were all deceiving (fl studio, reactable, music studio, beatmaker, nano studio, all boring and barely usable for real work) at least, while still being full of bugs and missing essential features, is the only one i actually can think of using for real

Rob Papens blue and albino. Seriously you need to be a computer programmer to understand the F@#$ing things. The manual is a useless POS. Try getting the arp to do what you want it do let alone getting it to sync with pro tools. Nice sounds but completely user unfriendly.

I too fell for the ridiculous notion that I would be in need of a mobile option for AmpliTube. I also never need or use it

On the entire "mobile" trip...complete waste of my time when it comes to music creation. Oh well, lesson learned
