RMV questions: sample offset

Is it possible in RMV to set a sample offset for drums, e.g.: Use velocity to play from different sample offset (velocity 0=start of sample, velocity 127=offset end of sample)?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated, at least I know.
Sample offset would be good!
I also noticed two things:
-the sound delay (dly) seems to works bit funny (or I misunderstand its purpose). The AHDSTR envelope is not in sync with the same amount given in the dly value. For example, delay a pad for about 10 - the envelope now needs manual adjusting of the Attack/Hold (A/H) to match its trigger(?). The AHDSTR seems independent regardless of the dly value given.
-I often use a kick with an extreme quick fadeout to get rid of the 'body'. To get the 'body' back to my taste, I boost with an EQ and very sharp Q +12db around 50hz which results in a self oscillating EQ and 'sine' tone around that frequency. The problem using the EQ in RMV with a sharp Q results in heavy clicks. It seem the EQ switches off by itself as soon the sample has been played in its length, which cuts off the self oscillating 'tail' generated by the EQ which such a steep Q and causes to 'click'.
Last question: Are there any future updates planned for RMV?

Sorry for the delay, Dalor,
a) the delay in the samples section does not affect the envelope; its purpose is, when you layer two or more samples, to shift one so you can fine tune the transients and/or phase relation.
b) the EQ in RMV is not self-oscillating, or rining, at least not much, so its not really forming a tail,
c) We not make much plans, but collect ideas and when times come we do updates; bugs is something else, we address them quickly, when possible.

Thanks Peter for explaining the delay, makes sense.
Regarding B, please see below:

I know I 'abuse' RMV's EQ when it's not designed for this kind of thing
My current workaround is to use another EQ in my host's FX chain so it's not a big thing really. Thanks.

Well, this not looks ok, can you please export the pad and send it to support@linplug.com, the sample too please, I should be able to find out whats going on. Thanks for your help, maybe we just solve a bug.

I can reproduce it. That was the good news. From what i can see it not looks like a bug, however, a restriction of the EQ. If I lower Q to a more "normal" value of e.g. 2...5 it works ok, I guess that with that short impulse, at +18 dB and Q of 12 the EQ just produces such click. I cannot say if its possible to make an EQ that can cover such setting, but this one cant. I'm sure some decent dedicated plugin will do, and I keep it on my list, but I have no quick solution.

Hi, any info you can share for a 5.0.7 update schedule? I have reported quite some time ago issues when dealing with relocated samples - I have projects that each time ask for a new location for samples, this new location isn't saved with the project it seems.
Can you tell if something is to be expected from the pipeline fairly soon?
Thanks,
Mario

The 5.0.7 update is "work inprogress", a few libs have been exchanged to make it Mac 64 bit, this is still in test and due to the complexity of RMV O'm afraid it will take quite some more time.
