Dear friends.

It's time to reveal the synth mystery.

Not a single guess from the past 6 pages hit the right synth spot and I kind of predicted that in the first place, that was why I offered a soundbank among all the wrong guesses too. Think beyond the ordinary synth, think synths that went under the radar. May I present to you: Luftrum 7 - 64 Presets for Glass Viper.

Glass Viper is a synthesizer with unique waveform shaping. Instead of taking a sample or oscillator and applying just filters and FX techniques, Glass Viper bends the actual shape of its waveforms through a series of moving control points. Up to four of these swirling and changing sounds can be layered together to create a huge range of instruments.

The winner of a soundbank + license of Glass Viper: 4lb Kitty (drawn randomly via random.org) congratulations!

It's not Alchemy.

Sadly I need more banks for the soft synths that I do own, not additional soft synths added to my workflow. So I will probably end up just sitting this purchase out.

But it's an awesome sounding bank Luftrum.

Oh, and congrats on your win too 4lb kitty. :)

My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

Crikey, I would never have guessed that!!

I NEVER win anything! :o

Thank you Luftrum for this opportunity AND for the excellent Bank and synth!

I'm humbled.

This will go perfectly with the project I'm working on now.

Amazing sounds from it for being an under the radar synth, then.
Anyway i already knew about this synth, which is great to be clever.

Congratulations to the girl! :)

Well done Kitty.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Me either considering I didn't know this product or even this company existed. Looks like a Synthmaker product.. quality of synths these days makes it difficult to determine by ear which is which.

Ahhh yes Glass Viper.. Very overlooked gem indeed.

Well.. that explains the lush reverb for me, which is derived from Fusion Field I think :)

Definatelly not SynthMaker or SynthEdit. The developer Dave Hoskins has been pretty active in the DSP and Plug-in Development forum helping people with all kinds of coding questions

Glass Viper is indeed an overlooked gem.
About time it was updated though. :)

No correct guess in 6 pages, lot of people who went for Alchemy are probably very surprised. Well that definitly proves you can make sound a synth pretty much the way you want it when you know what you are doing.
