There is a modulation knob in ET301 which i never used, i meant that.V'ger wrote:But it's still a modulation effect which would be against the rules, and not fair to others who resisted using them. If it wasn't commented on before, it was only because I missed it, nothing else. I knew you used ET-301 delay before, but you said you didn't use the modulation part of it.
Using the synth to create modulation effect is of course highly encouraged, squeezing as much as possible from the synth itself is what it's all about.
I just "modulated" (i don't know another word to express it) the filtered echoes, i mean, each-tap echo sounds more highpassed or more lowpassed filtered in the next tap. You can do this manually with EQs and automations.
The same i made with MG TempoDelay.
Why i used some same types of effects? (three different delays in this case) Just because i made nice presets with them which works nice to my ears.
Why i used different compressors/limiters, the same reason.
Why i used different reverbs, the same reason.
And in this case, i did the same with Valhalla FreqEchoMK1. But no chorus effect or whatever.
Once again, i have no problem in deleting the track.
Just tell me and i will.
Have a good day.
