Hey Steven!

I have some suggestions/comments about the video. Not sure what you can do, but I figured it doesn't hurt mention.

At 1:20, have someone check the copy; it doesn't read right to me, like it's missing a word or there are too many words.

At 1:26, typo in the Multiple UI Layouts copy - "MixControl shipps..."

A suggestion at 1:37, Unique Saturation - the caption here covers the buttons controlling the three modes. Can the caption be moved so that the viewer can see those buttons?

At 2:02, the caption is missing the capital C in MixControl. Seems like you'd want to keep that consistent for branding purposes.

I've been using this plugin more and more, and I'm really enjoying it. Hope it really takes off!

Very good, thank you for the info! I've passed on the errors and we'll make sure they are corrected promptly.

For those who have been very happy with the development and feature increases in MixControl Pro - we need your help! Unfortunately we are fighting against companies who are willing to drop thousands of dollars into force-feeding advertisements to you and we are not about to do so. The downside is, people only talk about Waves, FabFilter, Izotope, etc. even though MixControl has been shown time and again to compete (and beat) all the big name competitors in terms of sound quality, flexibility, and now visual presentation as well. We need help passing on the word!

For the amount of lividly angry people who contacted us regarding the discontinuation of MixControl Pro when Reason announced it months ago, I'm quite surprised by the VERY few people who ever talk about it, suggest it or even bring it up in the vast array of discussions going on in this forum alone. Please do us a huge favor and promote it with your words.

Do a group buy, make your money back, remove it from the market and then put the cash into something unique that nobody else offers. People don't care about yet another dynamics processor, and aren't going to be excited about MixControl Pro.

Not entirely true! You are thinking like a "veteran".. but don't forget that there are allot of newcomers in the music world that are dying for quality plugins VS best price.
I saw something about some upcoming MCP videos on DNR's YouTube channel... I think that will help a bit.

Yes, I think he was mistaken a bit in our call to arms. We're just interested in getting people talking about MixControl Pro in a grass-roots marketing effort prior to going the traditional advertising route :)

Or throw some comb filtering and background noise into the processing (ooh! and stereo crosstalk), make it iLock2 dependent, and call it VirtualSuperConsoleChannelMixStrip Pro (VSCCMSP for short). That should attract the Sound On Sound guys! :)

Very funny :) Though we did initially look into adding a console version of MCP but after studying what these "console" versions offer, we feel it to be just a marketing gimmick and a complete degradation to audio quality anyways, which would be on the opposite end of our goals to provide the highest quality components available.

And I don't think my comments were taken correctly - we are about to move forward with new projects and we had talked about getting our users involved in spreading the word, that's all :)

Oh, I understood that -- just couldn't resist ;) I'll do what I can!

I think the additional cost of creating a new version of the software and UI, along with the support of a lot of freebie users most likely outweighs any benefits of doing such a thing, but we'll look into it :)

Ah, it was mostly just a general comment not aimed at yourself :) I didn't want my initial call to be mistaken as a anything but good old fashioned grass-roots marketing.

Steven and DNR team, I know it is a blantently obvious one - Get yourself a Facebook page setup, You will do well doing so as for example i can 'share' your page to everyone of my 'friends' on facebook, Thats about 600 people...If 6 people check your page out, video demos, audio demos and images plus banter/feedback and say 3 of those people decide to invest...etc. Now add on everyone else whom has a FB account that also uses MCP or another Team DNR product that do the same and probably have more 'friends' than i do and it adds up. Doddle to setup, Google vids and soundcloud clips are fully already to hookup with little effort, Full links to the official site. The demo/freebie loop pack for example will be swallowed by many and that is your foot in the door. I will be hitting that 'like' button without blinking and as said 'sharing/recommending' the page :tu:

That would be the one thing i can highly recommend to get the word around Steven, Honestly it is a no-brainer

Hope that helps and i still ain't managed to crash Pro Tools with MCP :)

All the best

Dean

Edit: :dog: you already have one and i 'like' it, Will go on the share spree, Pushing a mono CM version could be worth talking with them about or a really, really stripped strip like The Control Center said/mentioned, Their 'magware' is the best resource for so many people starting out/dabbling who then become investors/customers plus those cover discs are far more important to most than the magazine ;)

My bad for missing out you already had the obvious covered

Hey Dean, yes, we have had a Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud and Youtube account for quite some time now :) We've been pretty active on them all, as far as I can see and the links to each account are all available many places on the DNR website (drop down list, sidebar, footer).

The easiest way to get people on the band wagon is a group buy. Plain and simple.
