I'd have been happy running this at 44.1, but thank you very much for this update! This could eventually be a part of One Synth Challenge, no?

Not being close to my Mac with Bootcamp and Win 7, I anyway downloaded PLEX and had a look at the pdf manual.
Item 4 explains how to install PLEX on Mac OS!
???
Not Intel, to be sure, but anyway PPC. I still have my G5 in hibernation. Would it be possible to re-release the PPC version? Please?
Best,
Joachim

there's a note on the Plex 2 page saying:
"Please note that the manuals provided are the originals from 2002.
Parts of the content, especially in the foreword, therefore are not valid anymore."
no possibility here to make a Mac version...if someone wants to donate me a Mac your welcome!
Wolfgang

first off, hats off to Mr. wolfgang for addressing and providing a update for the crackling at 48khz sample rate.pljones wrote:http://www.drealm.info/Wolfgang_Palm/Plex2.html has been updated.
I would love to report that it eliminated the crackling on my system, but it did not. strange thing is, it is almost unnoticable on some patches but others its very noticable. as you can hear on the sound clip below...which is me going through and playing different presets. i can tell you patch no. A-14 always has the crackling.

anyone else still hearing this with the updated .dll?

Thanks a lot for giving this synth to us for free! Very unique.
Still in progress getting the functions / matrix - but that's the fun of course.
no technical probs here at all

Whew! Glad to see the update is an addon. I've managed to download about 100MB so far. Hopefully the server/file will be available a few more days (at least three). Sucks being stuck in the stone age but I'm not about to pay $50-$70 a month for wireless.
How about offering it to CM mag so they can include it on their DVD (just in case I end up with a corrupted file or something)?
Anyway, thanks for the synth! Hopefully I'll get to enjoy it soon....

Wolfgang played with the 48kHz sample rate problem again; we've uploaded a new update that should cure the problem.
There's an update package on the web site now which should remove the problem. It's just an additional update package, so please don't try to download the big package again, which is unchanged!
Recommended only for people who have problems at other sample rates than 44.1kHz, as this is the only change.
It would of course be great if the kind people mirroring the mirror mirrored it again (SCNR). Just the main index.html and the plex202u.zip, the big .zip file, as said, is unchanged.
