Hi, welcome to OSC.
The use of effects are of course allowed, or you just took your own personnal rule to make it without effects because you wanted?

I couldn't make a whole track without effects to be clever, so this is so brave from you with this no-built-in-effects synth. Cheers.

Taking about something else, another submission without a text entry yet. Key88 - Halloweenie Funk. I hope the creator will come in time.
This track makes me remind of Gorgorgath/Dr. Nutson "old" entries, doesn't it?

The last day and we've manage to finish

made on Ubuntu Studio 11.04, DAW Reaper, 34 instances of Charlatan used, lots and lots of stacking, FX used: Kjaerhus Classic Reverb, ReaEQ, JS Limiter, ReaDelay, Kjaerhus Classic Delay and ReaComp on the master.

Man, we truely love this inspiring synth! Lots of beautiful tracks this month.

Wow, don't visit for a day and the number of tracks has almost doubled!!

Overwhelmed by the number of kind comments about my sounds, happy to share patches with anyone who's interested

Have made some minor tweaks to my mix and re-uploaded just ahead of the deadline, needed a bit of a volume boost compared to the other tracks which I hope I've achieved without sacrificing any dynamics. Also slightly less conga!

Please re-download if you want the latest version, otherwise just turn the volume up when my track comes comes on!!

I will get to Soundcloud for comments over next few days (when work allows)

haha maybe! im using a quad core my cpu managed to hit 100% with this

yes iv just had a check & correct, it is definately Braindoc's Stereo-Enhancer & Michael Gruhn's Transient Shaper.

thank you for the kind welcome & yeah i totally wanted to add distortion, it was hard to get gritty without the use of saturation & such! im wondering if i was allowed to use distortion/saturation? i wanted to but i didn't add any since it adds harmonics.

Saturation is fine, and although distortion is not specifically outlawed, it's borderline in that it quickly .. well .. distorts the sound to make the original synth sound unrecognizable which is a no-no.

Take a look on my first DubStep attemp, what do you think? I'm asking to you mostly because you seems that you listen to much Dubstep, you looks young.
(I will delete it tomorrow or so)

It is just a quick demo i made, i need to add more sounds and channels, and also mastering of course. But there goes the basis idea. It's called The Lion's Roar.

Haha, i love Ernie's face there. In Spain that yellow character is called Blas, and the brown other Epi. I don't know why they changed the names.

But still they are charismatic as hell, haha.
