Ok convinced.. within the next few hours we'll give a EUR 5/USD 7 discount on MidiShaper and on the Cableguys Bundle. So MidiShaper is EUR 15/USD 23 instead of EUR 20/USD 30.alexfalcao wrote:And I can't believe I missed this one.Shabdahbriah wrote:Aloysius wrote:Hmm ... Use this coupon code when purchasing: C899AA3F
It's not that big of a discount, but MidiShaper's not too expensive anyway, so hope it suits you well.

Great! Why is this information not in big red letters all over your website? If I can't find a mention of 64-bit support I assume that it is not supported, not the other way around. Only in the downloads section is it mentioned, which is imo "too far". I wasn't interested in downloading anything until I knew about 64-bit support.Jakob / CableGuys wrote:Yes! I'm a bit late to the news, but congrats on the RTAS release! Filtershaper is still an absolute favorite of mine, so I'm very happy to see the native PT version available!

We've just updated all plugins, improving performance and memory usage a bit, as well as fixing drawing issues for older host sequencers.
And.. just few more days to get the Cableguys Bundle for EUR 99/USD 129, so that's Curve, FilterShaper, VolumeShaper and MidiShaper for less than the price of Curve.
More on that: http://www.cableguys.de

We've just updated MidiShaper, it's now 1.1.4. Sometimes an LFO stopped playing after changing its sync mode, and produced spikes directly after playing a note. Both issues are fixed now.
So continuous development here. Throw your feature wishes at us for future versions.

This still does'nt work in Sonar 8.5.3 at all. As soon as you load the plug sonar becomes extremely sluggish and unresponsive.
I did test in bidule and it worked without any issues.

Have you tried to raise the sample update rate to for example 512 samples? Maybe Sonar has problems handling lots of MIDI CC.stoutlyric wrote:This still does'nt work in Sonar 8.5.3 at all. As soon as you load the plug sonar becomes extremely sluggish and unresponsive.

We've asked Cakewalk for a NFR version of Sonar some time ago but still have not gotten any reply. We've tested it with trial licenses before but they timed out. We could just purchase it, but it seems like rewarding them for not answering.

Jakob,
I did some more testing and I got it working. Here is what I found:
1) I had to go into the registry and change the "generate events" to 1 for the dll. Sonar require this to enable the midi out.
2) When I instantiated the vst from the track directly and enable midi out I got it to work!!!
3) When I started the vst from the synth rack then i got a bug where the wave was always flat and when you moved the nodes nothing happened to the wave.
4) I figured out what was causing the sluggishness. Whenever you assigned an audio out for midishaper then everything got really slow. Once I deleted the track for midishaper audio out then evrything was normal.
I'm going to post over on the sonar forums about cakewalk being lame and not getting you a copy for testing. Cakewalk reads that forum so maybe things can change.
