I'm looking for a sampler for my iPad that can play at least two samples simultaneously.
They should be triggered via MIDI and be slaved to my PC.
What can you suggest?

I thought the answer to this would have been a slam dunk.
How hard can it be?
MIDI in to 2x channels. Job done.

Seems like Nanostudiowill fit what you are looking for. You can bring in samples either as the basis for a sound, or for use on the drum pads. Each track in Nanostudio can be set to a different MIDI Channel.
If you import the samples into the drum track, you can trigger both sounds using the same MIDI channel. Or if you want each sample to be played across the keyboard, assign the sample to two separate tracks, both on separate MIDI Channels.

How about doing some research yourself?Mushy Mushy wrote:I thought the answer to this would have been a slam dunk.

You run your mouth about iOS and music production, and when you need help, you still act like a passive agressive asshole?

One of the first things I learnt in effective communication was to understand ones audience.Insaniac wrote:Clever. No, really.
That said, I think I pitched my reply appropriately.

Delusional. I knew it. Oh well, ignore function works.
This 'I've got an attitude, and i'm sticking to it, because it's sooo cool, and original', is getting really old.

Great! Hope it fits your needs.
I forgot to mention there is a free Mac and Windows download. http://www.blipinteractive.co.uk/download.php. It is based on an older build, but should give you a good idea about its use. I believe there is also a manual you can download from the site as well.
