This is an automatic reply from KVR.
The member you're trying to contact has muted you.
"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

@Insaniac: Once more, leave off the personal insults. No more warnings.

@Everyone else: Keep things at least approximately on topic.

Thers is only ONE agitator here, and it's not me.
Trying to kick life into this section, but I really don't care anymore.

You've been a mod long enough to know what people like Mushy does to forums.
If not, you can go f**k yourself, and I'll be done with KVR. Yeah, boo f**king hoo.

Honestly you are the only person i get into arguments with on this forum. Calling me an agitator is quite perplexing TBH.

Akai Synth Station. Wretched GUI failing a rather powerful synth engine. You can find my review in the app store as "dysamoria." I can't use it at all without the hardware they want us to buy, which the app is solely designed to sell. No, Akai. Shame on them. Like Alesis, Akai has been going down hill for some time the last few years...

@Insaniac: I said no more warnings. Take some time off. If/when you come back, don't keep sabotaging yourself by responding to everything with personal insults.

@Mushy: Just mute, no need to gloat about it.

I bought this hoping for some Theramin like action!!

Unfortunately it was utter crap! :D

I don't really regret buying any other Apps because they are generally very cheap. I paid a fair bit for iSequence because it looked really good but I don't like it much at all. Only used it for a short while though so I should really give it more time. Paid a fair bit for Korg iMS20 .... never used that either! Ironically it was one of the Apps that sold the iPad to me! Really need to give that one some more time as well.

My regret list so far (all iPhone apps):
Nodebeat: looked like a nice app, but it's sonic possibilities run out to quickly
8Bitone+: the interface is cumbersome so I never really used it
bleep!synth: sounds good, but programming a sound is like totally unpractical because of some not so good UI design
Chiptune with a shot of Japan: Poka Bjorn – Wear the Happy Face

GigBaby on the iPhone is my biggest audio app regret. I wasn't expecting great sound quality (just wanted to use it as a scratchpad for ideas more than anything else), but the rigmarole of getting tracks off the device once they have been recorded made it completely impractical.

My own fault for not testing the trial version first! :?

I'm glad I did not buy that one. I really enjoy all the apps I bought with the exception of a rare few that simply fall short or do not work as advertised.

Funny enough, the biggest fail for me was FL Studio because it is IDENTICAL to Music Studio (since they share the same exact engine and gui). FL Studio simply made it more synthy and has different samples and sample loader. I bought Music Studio before FL Studio and kept that one. Got my money back from apple (gave it a few hours to try it out before making the decision to return it).

Most of the ipad apps for creating music have been a joy. The android apps, on the other hand, are mostly stinkers for music making. Caustic is awesome and just bought Zstudio. Otherwise, very few good music making apps for android.

Energy XT. Completely useless, especially when you compare it to some other sequencers.
Huge latency, inacceptable recording offsets and in general a pretty much limited featureset.

I bought Filtatron for my iPhone and I don't know what the hell I'm supposed to do with it.
