At the moment this has no effect at all.

About time a Dev realised this, top quality sounding VA with simple to use/learn interface, it something I wanted for a while. What will the pricing be? Introductory offers, previous customers discount(ACE only)?Urs wrote:This is what Diva is all about. You can almost forget completely about the stuff in the bottom panel and fully concentrate on the beauty of those 25-35 knobs and sliders in the top part.taoyoyo wrote:Although I'm fine with adding extra analog-modeled filters, envelopes etc as we go along I would really like to see Diva be kept as simple (and as true to the spirit of the analog synths it is emulating) as possible and be about *the sound* rather than a myriad of sonic possibilities and modulations that Filterscape, Zebra and Ace already handle nicely.
While i have no problem with the current look of it, i'd love to be able to reskin also! I just found Skinman and Knobman and i love playing around with them skinning Orion! Made me find a 100% new creative side of mebreakmixer wrote: Cannot wait for ir, though I don't like Red UI's much, re-skinning possible? I'd prefer the UI done in 100% ACE style(like that colour scheme/look).

... Nah, it was cool...Bronto Scorpio wrote:Sorry
It was just a thought (the wavetable thingy)

I hope you don't think my response has been purposely obstinant here - I get what you're asking, but it's just tough for me to register. I believe there are more freely available patches for Zebra than Grevy's Zebras alive on Earth, and that covers so many different sounds ...tommyzai wrote: I guess I was hoping someone would have been brave enough to tell me they love using ACE for bass because it's crisp and punchy or love using Zebra2 for spacious pads that evolve or anticipate using Diva for some lush stuff.
Hmm... I disagree splitting that into two products. Who wouldn't want to try to use Minimoog's oscillators through Roland D50 digital filter? Or to put PPG wavetables through a Minimoog filter?taoyoyo wrote:maybe it's an idea for a second emu-type U-he synth specifically more for recreating those digital-type classics... 'Digi-Diva' or something?!
I fully agree. Such digital/analog modelled marriages could be sweetEvilDragon wrote:Hmm... I disagree splitting that into two products. DIVA could be an endless component-switching playground. Mix and match between various digital and analog oscillator types, filters, or envelopes... Fun!
We're expanding rapidly... we'll be looking into Diode ladders and all sorts of evil and elegant filters soon. If they're applicable for modellation in Diva, I don't know yet.EvilDragon wrote:The best part of that is that some of those venerable digital synths can be had for quite cheap nowadays... But even so, Urs & co. do borrow stuff they analyze, anyways, right?
Thanks for the support!hakey wrote:Please do!tommyzai wrote:In my mind I've been asking a simple question . . . a good question, but it's not working out. I'm letting it go.
