The GUI looks very aggressive/interesting. The only thing that looks odd is the font of the DIVA logo. Also, the U-HE logo could be a tad smaller.

This is what Diva is all about. You can almost forget completely about the stuff in the bottom panel and fully concentrate on the beauty of those 25-35 knobs and sliders in the top part.
About time a Dev realised this, top quality sounding VA with simple to use/learn interface, it something I wanted for a while. What will the pricing be? Introductory offers, previous customers discount(ACE only)?

Cannot wait for ir, though I don't like Red UI's much, re-skinning possible? I'd prefer the UI done in 100% ACE style(like that colour scheme/look).

Please could you also add sound demo's to the OP, took me ages to find them last night?

While i have no problem with the current look of it, i'd love to be able to reskin also! I just found Skinman and Knobman and i love playing around with them skinning Orion! Made me find a 100% new creative side of me :D

To me Diva looks absolutely great as it is! :love:

If i were to re-skin DIVA (or just about any synth/effect) i would make knobs, sliders and button larger to reduce handpain. The knobsize could be as small i guess, but the area you can click on could be a lot bigger (speaking generally).

I hope you don't think my response has been purposely obstinant here - I get what you're asking, but it's just tough for me to register. I believe there are more freely available patches for Zebra than Grevy's Zebras alive on Earth, and that covers so many different sounds ...

If you're looking for more targeted, genre-specific stuff maybe you'd like browsing the patch library? Many of these have demo tracks:

Hmm... I disagree splitting that into two products. Who wouldn't want to try to use Minimoog's oscillators through Roland D50 digital filter? Or to put PPG wavetables through a Minimoog filter? :D

DIVA could be an endless component-switching playground. Mix and match between various digital and analog oscillator types, filters, or envelopes... Fun!

The best part of that is that some of those venerable digital synths can be had for quite cheap nowadays... But even so, Urs & co. do borrow stuff they analyze, anyways, right? :)

We're expanding rapidly... we'll be looking into Diode ladders and all sorts of evil and elegant filters soon. If they're applicable for modellation in Diva, I don't know yet.

What we've learned though is that it's impossible to model a filter (or anything) without actually having it. Even if you run a complete simulation in Spice or Qucs, things look considerably different in the real world. One needs the right ideas and good ears to get close enough.
