I'm just being bold enough to throw out some suggestions. No matter what Urs goes with as a final design it will be fine . . . and some will like and some will not like. Everyone has different taste and different reasons for liking what they like. As far as wood . . . I agree that, if integrated well, it can help create a vintage look and feel. However, if you stuck a piece of oak, birch, cedar, or pine to the sides of your iPod, iPad, Laptop, or BMW would it look vintage?

All the best.

The juno version looks nice :)
But all these lines behind the faders get really distracting when there are so many of them. But you already said you want to do something agains that iirc :)

Yes, I'll tone them down. But not in time for your birthday. Is it okay if I send you a beta some time tomorrow afternoon?

When I right click to view the hi-rez version, it doesn't look any different from what I see embedded in the thread. Perhaps that's a problem with my browser.

Definitely your browser. It works perfectly here in Chrome :)

*Desperately trying to not do the graphic designer interfering thang on that Diva logo with an example*

(Which is tough as I already have Photoshop open for other designery-things!)

*whisper* silver/platinum gradient fill, no stroke and a nice dropshadow*

Otherwise I'd say she's looking lovely... the Roland lines could do with being a little thinner as others have mentioned but that's it. Bee-u-ti-ful. :)

Ditto.

+ no wood. hehehe
That refers mostly to the Moogy knobs on the envelopes, right?
I think it applies to all of the edges of the Moog knobs and to MS20 knobs in general. The blackness it just too deep to my eyes, making them kind of fad into the surface in an unnatural way.

The lighting shading/fading looks really nice too me, by the way.

Post

If I was to be really picky I might mention the visible brush marks on the face of the MS20 knobs, but apart from that it all looks good to me.

She looks gorgeous to me, apart from one minor thing...I can't help but think the bottom has been guillotined off.:o
I kind of expected just a tiny bit of the surround (e.g. in between the black and red VCO and LFO 1 Vibrato section) to be at the very bottom below the LFO 2, Main, Modification, Trimmers etc.

Waiting in anticipation for the sound of this to rupture my bowels when I play a low pitched note.

I can't wait to try this!
I guess I'll try a 100% Juno configuration first!

BTW: What are these Q and C buttons on the digital ENVs?
