I had begun to despair that there was never any update after 0.91b

Does anyone have any news about SQ8L ?
I wonder if we can we expect a working release soon ?
It is the best free VSTi that I've used and it is sad that it doesn't work in Cubase5/6.

SQ8L works great in Reaper.

Yes, I agree that Cubase is far from good and at the moment I'm planning to turn over to Pro Tools but that won't solve my problem with SQ8L as it is only available in VSTi format.

anyone fix the program change bug when you save a project in ableton live and close back out and reopen, with it defaulting back to a different preset?

That's not a bug - SQ8L doesn't support program changes.

You should use your host's preset saving mechanism.

Yes, our ESQ-1 had the sequencer expansion cartridge in it. (Still does actually, though now that I only use it as a MIDI controller I don't notice.) It was a really fast sequencer to work with, as I recall.
