Hi Jörg,
I just downloaded using the link I received with 3.1 but it loads the old version...so where can I get it?

This is exactly what I meant :?

About the new pattern loading features:
This new version 3.23 has an special preset loading behavior: Some hosts (e.g. Cubase itself) have troubles handling big data chunks during handling audio in the plug. That leads to ASIO overflow on changing the presets. Due to this, the morph feature could not play out his power on preset changing. But in version 3.23 I build in a thread decoupled chunk loading system and the morph between the presets is now possible without CPU overloading. Give it a try.

There is a Bug in Logic:
the Plug-In only shows in the AU mono folder (Midi controlled Effects), the actual Plug-In is labelled as Stereo, problem: all my presets are not visible a I never made presets for the mono version. On stereo tracks the insert "accSone"-folder doesn't even show up, only on mono tracks - please fix...

We can't reproduce that with Logic Pro 9. Both Mono and Stereo Tracks can be assigned to a crusher-X insert. Please delete all crusherX-Mac versions in Components and VST Folder. After reinstalling do a "reset & rescan selection" in Logics Audio Units Manager.

In case it doesn't help, please send me a screenshot of your Audio Units Manager view.

This looks really interesting. Downloading the demo.

What is "vapor" synthesis?
I know granular but I've not read the term(that I remember) granular "vapor".

Yeah, it's not a well defined term in regarding granular synthesis. But on crusher-X it means a special combination of features: Having a floating audio buffer that is used to derive grain generators from it. Grains are produced by the generators that are assigned to different outputs (3D version). LFO and manual modulations (not only random modulation like one find in common granular synthesis systems) are done on each generator and they "spread" their modulations with a given phase over the generators. This leads to "inherited" modulations on each generator and produces a feeling of "vapor" in your ears... :)

Best is to play around with the crusher and feel the difference!

-Thanks Jörg for the update. Got it! :D

-abstractcats: it's a granular plugin yes, but quite unique and powerful. I haven't found anything like it yet.

Did the installation works for you? Or did you spot the same problems like Sampleconstruct?

It worked and when I check my Crusher version in my DAW, it's 3.23

I removed the AU components from the Plug-In folder manually and re-installed - all working fine now.
