Yes, he did. But there's nothing wrong with SM synths, except that they are Win x86 only. You can code in assembly in SM, and it uses SSE. The only difference in quality between it and Reaktor is the 64 bit precision.zerocrossing wrote:People keep mentioning Synthmaker... but did the dev say it's a Synthmaker creation?

Not even close. 2-4 years ago there was a vaporware guitar amp that went on for 100+ pages. Finally everyone got sick of the unfulfilled promises and let the thread die.osiris wrote:4 pages for vaporware....a record???
I can't remember the name of the thread, or else I'd point it to you. It's a pretty interesting time capsule for those who have been here a while.

Because all I've seen is a sound on a cloud...
Maybe a description: how many osc. Lfo's, etc.
Maybe a preliminary GUI pic.
I'm all for it, don't get me wrong.

Sounds cool. Will LFOs, filters, and/or oscillators be able to be turned off completely to save CPU? I can't think of a situation where I'd need 10 LFOs all the time.
"musician."

hmm... that's really NOT cool! I'm not gonna listen to these "demo"-sounds!
instead of showing again only sound-demo, you should let us see some gui-stuff... for me it looks more and more like vaporware, if you don't!!

This is really strange. How can someone be working on a virtual synth for so long, be able to already produce these sounds, and don't even have some kind of test GUI to show us at least what kind of modules will the synth have, and will they suppose to interact with each other.
By now, this should already be up and running. Otherwise, we may think you are just using any VI available (or even hardware) to just fool with us.
So, if you have nothing else to show except for some sounds
