Hi,
so when did this new crop of Android stuff come out? Now this:
https://market.android.com/details?id=z ... _installed
very cool! Haven't tried it yet, but it looks good, and besides the usual "uh...how can I make it sound like Gaga? this sux," kind of stuff, the reviews seem positive.

Honestly I hate using the marketplace, I don't like using CC online (call me paranoid) so I try to get everything via AndroidPit w/ Paypal. But I'll give in if it's good enough

I've checked it out and editting for example works quite well, surely easier then "Reloop". It's like a real DAW basicly ( FL style ).
The FX sounds fine, but when you put in several ( Reverb + delay + dist for example ) it takes a while to process it.
It renders the changes, then starts playing the pattern.
I didn't put it lots of notes, so am not sure howlong the program would take to process that ( will test that soon ).
There are 16 tracks to use, with option per track to set which FX mixerchannel to use. Haven't found a loopfunction, it now plays on.
There is a small scope, which i find useless so i hope the dev will add an option to disable it ( maybe save some CPU power ).
What is strange is that the program only uses about 48MB RAM max, when i start the program 17MB of those 48MB are already in use. Seems not a lot left, but i haven't pushed it to the max (yet!). Only made a short pattern, with a few FX.
The program does appear to get slow fast.
The program instruments are wav files mapped with C0-7 octave prefixes, I suppose endusers can add their own but I haven't tried yet.
There are only a couple of instruments atm, and 2 drumkits ( notes of the drumkits are listed at the bottom of the octave range..C0 )
Tested on my Asus Transformer TF101 16GB.
Cheers!

thanx for that.
Too bad it has to render... but then again, we are talking about cell phones here
seems Caustic is still the best one of this type. Way to go, Singlecell!

Fair enough, I'll have a lookXGmode wrote:Caustic overall is better, but this app has the better pianoroll editor.
It's sad that it can't do its effects real-time, that's the easy part!
Still they've got a nice look overall, it's time to go buy a copy of the competition again...

I bought it - and tried it just for a few minutes.
Very nice look and feel on my tablet. Very responsive. It could use a better zoom function (pinch would be best) and needs to zoom in more for us old people with bad eyesight, especially on the piano roll editor - it's WAY too small for me.
Otherwise, very nice. I look forward to fixes and additions.
