I know you have a stance against discounts, but will there be a package price for The Drop + The Glue + possibly the to be announced thing if it is a plug?
There will be a discount for all existing customers as well as a discount for new customers that buy both at once. I haven't decided the final amounts, but I will announce them before release since it will hopefully aid in peoples purchasing plans.

I had no idea Diva was coming out this month.ryandfl wrote:Typo - I meant Diva from u-he. Between the two, it's going to filter mania. My computer is going to melt.dusted william wrote:I know what the Drop is, but what is Dive?

I've understood that your plugin is supposed to be emulating circuits, so it would seem to me that the circuits in question would be on topic.andy_cytomic wrote: And seemed involve loads of off topic waffle when all you needed to say was "the diodes limit resonance". I'm all for general discussion, but can we please try to stay a little more on topic? General details of circuits are all that is required so everyone can remain included in discussions.
Also I figured that Sean probably guessed the diodes would be limiting resonance, but from the way the question was asked it seemed clear that he didn't understand how that would work. There are plenty of ways to limiting resonance (even in an SVF) after all.

Sean already emailed me to discuss this and other things before you posted your reply. If you would like to start a new thread about describing parts of filter circuits in detail I'm not stopping you.mystran wrote: I've understood that your plugin is supposed to be emulating circuits, so it would seem to me that the circuits in question would be on topic.

Well, I obviously cannot know about your email discussions, nor do I really care. As I said I though the subject was relevant enough for the thread. I'm sorry if it's against your promotional agenda, but I believe that questions asked on public forums should generally be answered in public forums. However, that discussion is certainly off-topic.andy_cytomic wrote: Sean already emailed me to discuss this and other things before you posted your reply. Wow, that ProTools AAX announcement caused quite a stir here
Not too many ProTools'ers around at KVR, it seems.
Anyway, this man here is again super interested in checking out "The Drop" after listening to the audio examples again, just lovely!
So I'll bump this real good.

Listening to the demo's this is the most analogue sounding filter I have ever heard from a digital source.
If you make a synth with all the same principles... I will be unhappy, as I don't think there truly will be a difference anymore between analog and digital and it will be so hard to tell the difference we will all feel deflated about paying so much for an analog synth.. hehe

I don't care if its modeled or analog or made out of paper towels, all I know is it sounds good and I'd like to try it out.
