My plan is this: IPAD --->CC KIT--->USB HUB --->AUDIOFACE II ---> Interface

Mind you the audiioface II is class compliant and i just confirmed with Kellys Music and Computers that the spdif out works with the iPad. Ive already used midi i/o from ableton to the iPad through the UNO. Everything seems as if it would work, i just want to make sure before i go out and purchase an interface with spdif in and the audioface 2.
Does anyone else use spdif out through the dock connector. Surely i can't be the only one trying to transfer digital audio and midi data from the iPad simultaneously. This is my first time messing around with digital i/o so any advice will be helpful. Right now I'm working with ableton and the presonus audio box i have doesn't have coaxials.
