Slow and dreamy, but does this qualify as uptempo FATC entertainment? First time I can recall that you have used percussion, certainly for a while. I like the way the synths stay in the background and do their thing, leaving centre-stage for the Rhodes.

Yes, dreamy covers this off nicely. Very pretty, restful, love the ep, which I don't think I've heard you use too often, at least in an up front way. Percs were nicely random and organic.

a beautiful song! at first i didn't like the percussion that much, but as the song went on it worked really well for me.

really nice vibes, the rhodes and the synth do work well together. Some of the metallic sounds you used for the percussion make it seem kinda dark, though.

thanks seismic, yes, another of those tunes that starts off slow and ends the same way. Pick up the pace.

And polyslax, have the Rhodes going thru a better preamp which has improved it's tone. Takes a while to get the style, have to try to hold notes down still after they are played, otherwise the sound stops stone dead so quick...and the tines [tynes ?] seem to vibrate still in sympathy so to speak if they are not dampened.

and astro and DNA, thanks for checking this out. Wasn't sure about some of those percussion parts, would probably do it again different.

This is a very nice, slowly evolving, atmospheric number.
Streaks of dark and very interesting synths use.

kind of stuck with the 2 old synths, worth more to me than I could possibly sell them for.

I got 7 synths and i almost added the jx10 to my collection, haha
cant beat the synth strings that thing makes. and that good ol rhodes will never go out of style. i'm jealous... i been hunting for an cs-10 in good shape.

I've had the JX 10 about 10 years, it has a wonderful silky smooth keybed.
The CS 10 and Rhodes, hard to explain, but I appreciate the simplicity and functionality of the design in like engineering terms, no redundancy, very stripped back kind of.
