Interesting,
so the different dlls are actually one file but with different names
(and different assigned IDs depending on the name) ?
I'll give the described method a try tommorow, will report back here then.
It's getting late here... thanks much for the hint.
Cheers

Yep, indeed, the synths configure themselves dynamically at run time depending on the file name.

As promised a quick report:
the method worked absolutely flawlessly, just created a new folder "FXpansion"
in my x64 VST folder, copied and re-named above mentioned file 7 times (incl. the FX versions), done.
The x64 versions show up fine in Cubase 5.5.3 x64,
and so far seem to work fine (after some quick play) - great.
The only thing I have realized to be strange is with the standalone versions
(the 32bit ones, haven't installed the x64 until now), more correctly
with the stub loader.
No animation at start up anymore, and the audio and MIDI settings won't be remembered ?
Has this been reported for Win7 also ?
Not a big one for me, but thought I'd mentioned it anyway.
Again thanks for the help, Angus,
much appreciated, I am glad to be able to use DCAM Synth Squad in a x64 environment.
Cheers

As mentioned I in the FXpansion forum my two major problems (LFO sync gone bad and missing swing templates in Fusor) haven't been resolved: currently there's only one swing template (0 in the previous version) and the LFO sync values don't match the value that is actually played.
I have no doubt that FXpansion will fix those, though

The swing templates 'bug' isn't actually a bug -- earlier versions of Fusor incorrectly listed all the Pattern presets in the swing templates dropdown as well as the actual swing template(s). The new version keeps the swing templates in a separate folder.
Pattern presets & swing templates are actually the same kind of file, but it was (not surprisingly) rather confusing for people that swing templates were listed that didn't have any swing in them (the swing template reads the 'Shift' value from each step to work out the swing - so if you load a pattern without any shift as the swing template, it won't swing).
You can create custom swing templates by creating patterns with some Shift graph action, saving them, & copying the file to the folder (Program Files x86 | /Library/Application Support)/FXpansion/Fusor/Devices/Presets/PatternSwing)
The LFO bug is a bug, and is on the list to be looked at.
Hope this helps,
Angus.
