I'm stuck with one default preset (only halfway works in Sandboxie).
Looks cool though, but I just wanted to demo it.

I own Tasmann, haven't touched it for years, though...

Getting a very weird mouse behavior where after turning a knob and releasing the mouse button, the cursor will jump to the top of the synth window, never seen that before! And going back to turn the same knob again it will occasionally jump to the neighboring knob and turn that (before jumping to the top again on release)
Also get no presets at all visible even if I let it install to default folders, and as far as I can see there's no way to load manually either..
A real dud.

Damn this is very, very nice. Didn't think I would need another percussion synth

All the demo's are 100% Chromaphone. I particularly like Cinematic, and Chromafrica. Dudes and dudettes: Seriously, if you got an $89 coupon, jump on this!!!!
No, not not a shill; just an audio soft clown with his jaw on the ground. WOW

Demoing it now, buying it right away I guess, great concept, exceptional sound, great for fantasy hybrid instruments...

Agreed!Sampleconstruct wrote:Demoing it now, buying it right away I guess, great concept, exceptional sound, great for fantasy hybrid instruments...
Have you seen Coraline, the stop-motion movie done maybe a couple of years back? It has an interesting score involving a lot of percussive sounds and faux vocal material-this Synth could probably single-handedly do most of the percussive sounds in that score!

Yes, I've seen that and you're absolutely right, Chromaphone is very versatile, just bought it and doing my first patches now. For 67 Euros it's a stealgoldenanalog wrote:Agreed!Sampleconstruct wrote:Demoing it now, buying it right away I guess, great concept, exceptional sound, great for fantasy hybrid instruments...

This is a remarkably expressive synth, the velocity sensitivity is amazing, you can't get this caliber of response with samples. Very impressive!
