I guess you don't use third party presets, you make presets, you ARE a third party! I got your Filterscape Edgy Scape bank a while back. Nice work too.

Your right about the Zebra having a better UI though..

I'm just an AAS junkie I guess..

But I want to get a DIVA when it's done it's another interface that encourages experimentation.. But Heavy CPU use means that I'm going to have to get another Computer if I'll use that one. Zebra on the otherhand can be more CPU friendly but it isn't on my list for some strange reason..

Increasing my Computers power first after this little shopping spree.. I want to make a MAC mini modular with 3 or four minis one for effects and mixing two for soft synths, none for gaming..one for Video Graphic live playback..

Every hour that passes brings me closer to my Chromamona..

Yeah, Chromamona wants more CPU from U - playing patches with a high voice count at low buffer settings makes any computer sweat, even my 3 Ghz 8-core Mac - but they like each other...

I'm always reducing the voice count to save CPU, I work polyphonically so I rarely use more than 2 or 3 voices per sound

Was just demoing Chromophone and deciding whether to get it for $89 when I realised that TODAY ONLY for an extra $10 I could get the whole Modelling Collection. Having bought the AudioMidi 'no-brainer' Ultra-Analog and String Studio for peanuts last year and previously owning Lounge Lizard - just can't believe it, $99 for everything!

Yeah, I stepped up to the whole modelling collection, too. I like the strum guitars and I didn't have UA, either.

In 2006 I bought the whole effin bundle for almost 600 Euros consisting of Tassman, UA, String Studio and Lounge Lizard. 99 bucks aint a bad a deal then with even 2 more Plugs in the bundle

Well tbh all I would want is LL - I have everything else except LL and the two Strums and they are pants so I don't care about them anyway. Actually though I'm wondering if Chromodome will do a better EP than LL anyway once it gets pitchbend and aftertouch?

Condome should well be able to do some tines and rhodes stuff but LL isn't bad at what it's designed for...

True, but with all the requests for bending and AT AAS might update Telephone soon and hopefully more frequently than Tasman - has that even changed at all since 2006?

Last night I spent a couple of meaningless hours trying to mimic Live's parameter mapping in my go to DAW, Digital Performer 7.2.4. No cigar - it just isn't possible.

Probably the only current solution for DP users who want to control Chremazone dynamically is using Inter application MIDI from DP to Live and then Rewiring the audio back into DP. Talk about jumping through hoops and not something you'd do just for some improvised jamming…

MIDI Learn, please!

Wow, couldn't say no to today's half-price Modeling Collection sale!

I've tried them all in the past...really dug String Studio & Lounge Lizard.
The Strums can be a little corny but are fun all the same.

I've had Tassman & Ultra Analog for years.
Not always the easiest to program from scratch, but worth the effort.
They recently got me through some tight deadlines for an art installation & theatrical sound design project.
Even the wispy/thin sounds have a certain weight & presence that's uncommon in the virtual world!

Seriously everybody, let's all start bugging AAS about AT/bending/microtuning/Tassman upgrade!

Interesting. I love String Studio so I can't wait to hear what Bendaphone can do with its plucks and what not.

(I feel kinda privileged that my 'Chromosome' has been such a fertile ground for circuit bent names
