Hm, I guess I misunderstood what you were asking about. I thought you were asking for an upgrade to the Modeling Collection (which now also includes Chromaphone). Which yesterday was $89.50 if you already had four other AAS instruments. I think that's what Xenos and a few others wound up going for?
The special price Chromascope deal for by itself for $89 for all AAS users is indeed until Dec 5th.

If you have four Professional Series serials to validate, then your price will be $179. If you have three, then it's $199.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but yesterday it was $89.50 if you own four... Black Friday special. Today the pricing is set back to normal.
But if you have the original email, then you can still get just Chromascope (or Colonscope.. or whatever people are calling it today!) for $89.
Or keep a sharp eye on the marketplace... I saw a second Colonscopy for sale last night... going for $79, I think.

So I started a new pre-order thread for my Soundset ChromaZone for Chromaphone, in case anybody is interested in fresh sounds for a fresh synth

Anyway, I tried it (the 64 bit version) and was a bit disappointed with the presets. However after playing around with it and tweaking some of them I was able to come up with some very interested sounds, but the problem is that I had huge CPU spikes, especially when turning on and off sections of the synth, like FX, filter etc.
Anyone experienced this?
I am using Cubase 64 bit and windows 7.

How in the world did you know I like Mango Juice! The sound would be good for caribean cuisine too... Very Appetizing, see now guys there's already customers for Chromamangophone music just go out and buy it's still at a discount if you get it before the 5th of December...Sampleconstruct wrote:So here is a little Fomaclone demo for the handle of your refrigerator - you can dance to the fridge in anticipation of this little track and then enjoy it when you actually open the fridge to get some drinks...TwoToneshuzz wrote:
I think it's time to get the wife and kids and neigbours involved in churning out tracks 24/7 with all the different plugs working this way you will get your monnies worth at the same time creating a small make work industry.. I for example have at least 12 doorknobs in my home that need a little jingle in them which would be a huge help when arriving home to a dark house, late at night..
P.S. You won't hear any of the nice round bass notes in the fridge handle though so maybe you should hook up a subwoofer behind the fridge...
I still need ordinary Door Knob music though, the bedroom the Bathroom Kitchen Living room.. So many doorknobs so little time...

Classy. I like the warmth, the low frequency material, and the space around the nice clean sounding fairy Bells..Sampleconstruct wrote:Some fairy Bells and soft guitars for breakfast...

Cheers Wade, the thing with Monachrome is that one can mix 2 noise impulses one for short bursts and (bright) attacks and one for more sustained/textural notes, so you can create warm hollow sustained notes with the noise frequency of noise Generator 2 set to lower mid range (and with key/velocity follow, or controlled by the Envelope/LFO to create transitions from e.g. high to low frequencies, even temposynced) mixed with a bit of (bright) impulse...blablabla - too theoretical for a breakfast conversation maybe...TwoToneshuzz wrote:Classy.
