One of my 3 favourite bands of all time
and the top 5 are (in no particular order)
Kashmir
Black Dog
Achilles Last Stand
Dazed and Confused
I can't quit you
That was tough .. I can think of at least 10 other songs that I adore

well, i was just trying to convince someone that the boy Page was up there with Johnny Marr as a geetarist. I rate the bugger, side 2 of Led Zep 3 is twee buggeration in the extreme, not quite hatful of hollow, but close..awwwwwww

Well hey, as a recent member of the K-v-R fun, why not. In no particlaur order:
Since I've Been Loving You
Hots On For Nowhere
(...ok now where my Winamp playlist...*rattle* *crash* *clunk*..ah!)
Bron-y-Aur Stomp
Down By The Seaside
I'm Gonna Crawl
Dang - way too much Zep goodness just to pick five, but those will do for now.

Aw man, one of my favorite bands, as well. I have been watching the "How The West Was Won" DVD endlessly lately. My faves...um, that's hard...a random selection for today would include:
1. In My Time Of Dying
2. Houses Of The Holy
3. Black Dog
4. I Can't Quit You
5. In The Evening
6. Over The Hills And Far Away
Anyone who doubts this band's legendary status really must see this live stuff on the DVD...absolutely astonishing. The version of Achilles Last Stand" and "Whole Lotta Love" on disc two are utterly brilliant. They had so much confidence as to play essentially a few unaltered bars of "Whole Lotta Love" on that last show, before transforming it into a totally different arrangement. Fuckin' hell.

I don't think I could pick a top 5 from Zep. Their music is timeless to me and precious. But there is something about No Quarter that encapsulates them as a band. I love everything about that song.
I saw Robert Plant's new band on Austin City Limits not too long ago, but I think it was a re-run. They were an incredible bunch of souls, too.
