Cheers Wade, the thing with Monachrome is that one can mix 2 noise impulses one for short bursts and (bright) attacks and one for more sustained/textural notes, so you can create warm hollow sustained notes with the noise frequency of noise Generator 2 set to lower mid range (and with key/velocity follow, or controlled by the Envelope/LFO to create transitions from e.g. high to low frequencies, even temposynced) mixed with a bit of (bright) impulse...blablabla - too theoretical for a breakfast conversation maybe...
When you say two noise sources is that in two different instances of the Chromaphone? I see only one noise knob..

I think I'll be buying you bank(s) for chromaphone, to find out more..

Please more blablabla.. Perhaps you should do some tutorials for the Filterscape, Chromaphone, and your other preferred synths I'll gladly pay for serious info.. I'm a Tonemeister, so I should be able to follow the theoretical.. I've used alot of time figuring ways to get Numerology to work in new ways, but am farily lame when it comes to synthesis..and synth programming.

No, in one instance of Fomawoam on the left of the GUI you have 2 noise Oscillators - the one for short impulses/bursts at the top and at the bottom the one for sustained, textural stuff - so you can mix those together...
Tutorials require a lot of time which I currently don't want to spend - but I'll reach the tutorial age soon, all older composers and musicians become tutors one day if they don't die before reaching that age :)

Please do live long enough to reach "Tututututorial Age"

Thanks for the info on the Noise Generators..

Continuing to have lots of fun with Chromaphone here. Some of the controls on the UI are ridiculously small, but the magic sounds that pour out of it kinda make up for this.

I've done a couple of tracks with it so far. This one uses only Chromaphone as a sound source, though there is some processing:

This one uses a fair amount of marimba-like sounds from Chromaphone, but also contains other instruments:

This could be the soundtrack to one of my stranger dreams :tantrum:

ZomaFoamaClone is also great for quirky synth sounds as you can hear in this demo

That's a interesting compliment, stuff's happining in there that I almost can say the ghost in the machine took over..

Valhalla shimmer, for the waves of highfrequency shimmer..Feed any signal into and it does this spintingling thing..

The low sighs, are UHBIK G doing something to the parallel thirteenths of the Whole Tone figure..

I think it's just all about a great soul being disturbed by the knowledge that Chromamona is trapped in Demoland, east of the dryblood mountains somewhere..evil.

Very african sounding. I just love that Physical Modelling liviliness that is apparent in this example..

Nice playing too.

Rich sounding and very lively once again.. It would make me want to buy the synth if I hadn't already done it.. And firm my resolve to get your bank, it's going to be HOT it seems to me..
