That would be great... appreciate it Dave!DaveGamble wrote:Almost certainly. It won't kill me to include a no-sidechain VST2 version. I'll do that.zvenx wrote:I can confirm this......I think it is the workaround on the vst2 sidechaining technique.taoyoyo wrote:Hi Dave,
Thanks for the updates.
Just wanted to let you know that the Compassion VST is still not working in Maschine (think I sent you a couple of emails about this a while back), both 332 and 64bit versions.
The plugin will load but is not getting the audio into it (Equality and EQuick VSTs and all AUs work fine in this aspect, just Compassion VST).
Appreciate that Maschine is not your biggest market and you're a busy fella but would be good if this could get sorted.
Cheers,
Alan

hey Dave, i reported a bug a loong time ago, when i demoed equality, and just checked out the demo aagain, and IT IS STILL THERE. The bug relates to the preset browsing. i am attaching a link to the image so u can see what i am talking about.

How to reproduce:
open equality, bypass any band, now change the preset. u will see that the bands are actually active but their on/off buttons are greyed out !

1- Also, upon reloading compassion, why does the mod name change to "none"?? is this intentional??
2- Secondly, in the default gui mode in compassion, i choose a mod X, now when i change the gui from full to compact, the mod name changes to "none" again !!
3- Third, that equality bug i mentioned some posts ago..

Hi Dave and COMPassion users,
I'm experiencing a constant & rather loud "hiss" sound when I select the MOD preset called "potentiometer" (or something like that). I get this under VST3 and VST2.4 versions. OS is Windows7 64-bit, DAW host is Cubase 6.0.5 Is this normal? Thanks!

I made the possible mistake of buying EQuick without demoing it, because i already knew the amazing sound of EQuality from a demo-session some time ago.
If i had demoed before i bought it yesterday, i guess i would have noticed the lag/bug/unresponsiveness in my hosts from using it.
Using mainly Live 8.2.7 here, and as i open EQuick everything gets laggy and dont respond when i click around until seconds after.
My OS is: OS X 10.6.8, on a macbook 2010.
Tried in Logic also, and pretty much the same story here.
Can i hope for a fix, or should i put my hope on selling it off, or perhaps getting my money back? I realize its my own mistake, so i do understand if theres no money back.
Emailed Dave about this, but as theres no reply yet (ok, only waited 1 day), i thought id post in here and see if others experience the same too.

How about Live or Logic then?
I cant go Cubase just because of this.
