Albino 3 not saving presets in Cubase 6

I open an instance of Albino 3, the pre-sets are available and I can select them. I save a project in Cubase and reopen, and the presets are gone, both the bank and the preset show up as ---.
When I 1st launch Albino, the bank selection show up as --- with the preset selected. When I change presets, the bank selection updates from --- to the actual bank name, as well as changing to the selected preset.
Any ideas?

Usually this happens when you load a preset from outside the Albino's banks, e.g. from your desktop or another drive. When the projected is opened then again, it shows these "---" to indicate the sound you currently have is not originally loaded from the Albino's preset library. Hope this makes sense.

Hi Peter,
That does make sense, but is not what is happening for me.
To recreate, I add a new Albino VST in cubase, and when I 1st launch Albino, the bank selection show up as --- BUT THE PRESET SOUND is present.
Then if I change presets, the bank selection updates from --- to the actual bank name, as well as changing to the selected preset sound.
Then save project, with the standard sounds selected (and the bank showing). Reopen project and I have --- for the bank AND the Preset

Sphillpo, ok, got it wrong, sorry.
This could happen when you moved around the Albino banks after installation (or when drive letters changed due to hardware changes); In this case a fresh install of Albino should fix it.

I had not moved any directories around. Nevertheless, I uninstalled and reinstalled Albino and I am still getting the same issue. This effectively makes Albino unusable for me as any changes I make to a patch are lost on saving and reopening the Cubase project.
Any other ideas how I might get around this.

Hmm, starting to guess now. Have you maybe had installed Albino as 32 bit version on this windows before ?
Is this a fresh Windows install or an upgrade from a previous windows ?
I'm not exactly getting what happens to the sound itself, when you reopen a song. Is the sound ok and just the display shows ---- or do you have lostt he sound completely.

I finally got to the bottom of this. Your 1st suggestion was right. The dir had been changed due to automap changing the dll location. I then had to demove all records in the registry of the dir location and reinstall and all is now good.
Thanks for the initial suggestion and your attention.
Cheers
Steve
