Would it be possible to implement drag and drop support from audio tracks and audio pool for Cubase? Currently it doesn't work. If I recall correctly Cubase sends an xml string containing some metadata in addition to the file address.

I'll look into it. Weird that I didn't notice actually...cpu28 wrote:Would it be possible to implement drag and drop support from audio tracks and audio pool for Cubase? Currently it doesn't work. You could consider contacting them and request an NFR copy of Orion.elcallio wrote:Crackbaby wrote: I guess I'll have to somehow acquire a saving copy of orion...
Cheers

Some DAW producers give them on request to plugin developers.
I know for sure Cakewalk did that, I almost bet Cockos does.

I've been trying to do that too and for the same reason, however getting samples loaded for drumkits seems a lot less convoluted in ShortCircuit which is very quick IMO. Plus using shortcircuit with the bitbridge in 64bit Cubase has been rock solid so I see no dire need to switch just yet.cpu28 wrote:Thanks, man. Looking forward to replace shortcircuit with the tx16wx as there still is support for the product and I like filters a bit more.

Hhmm.., I upgraded to v1.0.01 from (v1.0)and kept getting 'Could not read file: Invalid string position' when trying to load banks and performances in both eXT2 and Bidule. I loaded up v1.0 and all the files worked fine.
