Last month I "remixed" Chain by mr.me. This was not a remix in the modern sense. I removed the guitar from the original and added 5 new instrument tracks. I don't think the changes were particularly subtle.

Great stuff Tim! I like the big bold sounds you're using and found it to be a really creative take on the track. :tu:

I really like that brutal percussion you've got happening in this. Nicely done.

Thanks for listening Matt. Glad you enjoyed it. I heard the drum sound on the original and thought "I can dig that"! The synth sounds followed from there.

Thanks very much for the kind comments Neil. Glad you enjoyed it. Funny thing about this remix was that I spent the first 2 hours not really getting anywhere, and then decided to focus on the percussion. After that, everything came together pretty quickly.

Brutal. I can live with that. Thanks very much for listening and commenting DHM. Glad you liked it.

This is really cool. It kind of reminds me of something by Switchblade Symphony, but with a guy on the vocals.

Fantastic job Tim - this sounds awesome. The original has ATTITUDE in abundance but you've given it even more :D :D :D :D :D

Glad you liked this mrblitz000. Thanks for commenting. I hadn't heard any Switchblade Symphony before (having spent long periods in a monastery during my "formative" years), but I just listened to Clown. That was quite a blast.

Thanks for the fantastic comment Mike. It was fairly easy to put this together given the quality of the original song. I just had to wait a couple of hours for the spark of an idea, and then things snowballed from there.

Glad you enjoyed it. :)

Oh that's very good indeed!

Plenty of 80s flavour as usual, this time a cross between DM and Numan.

Awesome :D

The '80s. Just when I thought I was out...they pull me back in.

Thanks for the very kind comments. Glad you liked it.

I think my next track is more '70s.

Now that's what I call regression Vol 27 :hihi:
