Okay okay, now it's Talk Talk's 'Such a Shame'. But I've only ever heard the radio single, which cuts out most of what you posted earlier. I guess they cropped the album version down a fair bit for the single.

Ah, there appear to be a 3:59 and a 4:26 version of the single; I guess the longer one has the ending.
Or the cheeky radio DJs here were spinning the album version, minus some intro/outro.
