I'm just progressing through the Diamond downloads.
On my download page, there's a gap between 39_Chamber_Basses_Mute and 45_Concert_French_Horns. And no .zip file starting 53_ is listed.
Is it just me? Are these intentional gaps? What (if anything) is missing?

There were some older and smaller files that later I decided to remove, or to add to create larger files. Nothing wrong with what you're seeing.DarkStar wrote:I'm just progressing through the Diamond downloads.

If you want to get TVEC 3 instructions for Diamond, you can download them at

Thank you Kirk, I hope you don't mind me checking these things.KirkHunter wrote:There were some older and smaller files that later I decided to remove, or to add to create larger files. Nothing wrong with what you're seeing.DarkStar wrote:I'm just progressing through the Diamond downloads.

I too can not get either Diamond nor Concert Strings 2 to authorize in NI Service Center. I do not find the nkx or the nkc files. When I choose "Add Library" and point to Diamond or CC2, i get "no library found".Gaffpro wrote:I have the latest Service Center too....I can't believe that I'm the only one with this issue....Kirk, I'm sure your products are awesome, but if I can't intall them, what's the point?
I am having one other problem but i will post a separate entry for it.
Any advice on getting these recognized in Kontakt 4.2.4?

Both libraries need not to be authorized: just load the patches from the "file" menue. Pop Rock Strings is the only KH library which has to be added and authorized.
Kirk: since such a lot of people ask about this it should be made clearer somewhere in the purchase process, probably with some big letters..,-)

You do not need to authorize for Diamond or Concert Strings 2. Just load the appropriate .nki files and you're good to go.Cecelius2 wrote:I too can not get either Diamond nor Concert Strings 2 to authorize in NI Service Center. hi all,
i have the following trouble with the Bass Clarinet and Contrabasson solo instruments (they're the only non-TVEC3 woodwinds in Diamond, if i did not miss anything): as soon as i move down the pitch wheel (to prepare a slide), some notes are triggered at max velocity (i'm not playing any key) - anyone with the same problem?
Cheers,
Goyya

There was a bug back in Kontakt 3. Back then, I had to redo all of the existing strings and brass, I believe. Then I developed TVEC 1, and never got to the woodwinds. I'll look into that, and get an update posted soon.goyya76 wrote:hi all,

It seems that people seem to ask a lot about using the products in NI Service Center. Might I suggest adding a clause to the thread that all products but Pop/Rock Strings are accessed under the "Files" tab in Kontakt?

mchannemann wrote:One last thing for all those who cry let us have it as Kontakt library,
Kirks library can be batch re-saved compressed the only one I have which can do that!
This has one huge advantage:
The memory footprint gets quite a lot smaller...
Why is this important?
When you compose a track with a full orchestra your memory will be eaten up like sweets, and for those who have limited GB's on their hand(I especially talk about you Win XP 32Bit people with max 3.2 GB available) you run against a very real wall and have to start bounce.
I'm lucky enough to not have that issue but sometimes run a "tight" ship with just 2 GB left (Means I use 14 GB up with Videos and instruments).
To have made the decision to deliver the libraries the way Kirk did I can't thank him enough, easy install, easy handling, great playability, easy but detailed control and a great DRY sound!
And in regards to these am I able to download it comments, if you encounter trouble Kirk is one of the most helpful developer out here and he reactivates your download links when it is expired so you can download it PERIOD
Let's focus what this is about several great libraries for a steal of a price.
If you look for anything in the orchestra area and you don't own these gems go and get them you wont regret, I for sure use them in my daily work.
Back to composing,
Thor
